Can you record Dr appts ?

I get to see my LLMD in Conetticut this week. I haven't been in 3 years. There is so much that needs covered.  The problem is I have to go all alone we couldn't afford more plain tickets from oregon to Conneticut. I really need someone there with me to help absorb all the info. Last time i saw this Dr he gave me so much stuff and I forgot most of it. Luckily I had a friend there to help me absorb it all.

Without my Husband there I really won't be able to remember and he always hears things different than me usually the right way.

So I have alittle digital recorder or I was thinking of having my husband on speaker phone on my cell.

I don't know what to do, I really need all the info to help figure out my next attack plan.

What would you do, how would you ask?

I agree just ask first. Have you felt good for 3 years and then just started having problems again? Or did u find another doc in Oregon?

I hope ur appointment goes really well and I agree that calling ahead is the way to ensure you have coverage. If you have a laptop, you are also allowed to request that you take notes throughout the appointment as well, as long as you have permission ahead of time. Having ur husband on the phone during the appointment is brilliant. I hope your doctor is open to your digital recording idea. Many are, so do not hesitate to make ur needs known.

Thank you everyone, good advice. Hopefully I make it to Conetticut for the DR appt. I have been sitting in the San Fransisco airport for 12 hour delay.

I made it 24 hours later. I am exausted can't wait to go see him in a couple hours.

I have barely slept I don't sleep well in public places.

I really hope he lets me record it my brain is even slower than usual.
