ok i cant get treatment as ya'll know by reading my post. so my next step is to treat myself and pray. so what i need help with from ya'll is things i can take and get OTC and it has to be less then 100 bucks a month. its all i have. and it has to cover my vits too. so any help and or info would be gratefully appreciated.

Homeopathic treatment is probably the least expensive. There is a product called "Acute ViroReliever" (but it helps other kinds of infections as well) that I'm taking (prescribed by my LL Naturopath) that I have to take less often than daily because otherwise I herx...so I know it is helping to boost the health of my immune system. The same company (King Bio) makes another product called "Lyme Plex" that is for fever, joint & muscle pain, skin rashes, etc., that may help too. Each product costs about $20 (+ sales tax & shipping) but lasts a while because of the fine mist spray (both products are water-based homeopathics, no alcohol or preservatives). Because King Bio is a registered FDA-approved pharmaceutical company, your regular doctor may be able to prescribe these products (or other applicable products) for you and order them for you (or he may do so thorugh a natural health or compounding pharmacy) -- if your doctor is open to trying non-traditional things that may help you.

I am sorry you are having such a hard time getting the right treatment. I have ordered vitamins and supplements from 2 different companies that offer lower prices. The first is, www.vitacost.com. The second is www.renewalenterprises.com. Renewal enterprises sells the Nutramedix stuff for about $5 less a bottle than on the other sites. I hope this helps and I wish you all the best.

Razzle, thank you this would be great if my Dr was open minded, but he will not even think of talking to me about lyme. told me i was not allowed to bring it up again with him. so i dont think he will give me a script for anything. :(

Stunned123, thank you for the info, but  i do not know what i need, this is my maine question, what to take and how much? basicly all of it. but i can not go over 100 bucks a month.

I wonder if the salt/C protocol would work for you or at least get you started? I will try to look it up later and send you the information. I don't think it cost that much.

P.S.- Remind me if I forget. I'm trying to finish a few things that needed to be done.

Hi RD,
I hope others can give you specifics about their protocols. I am adding the Cumanda and Samento in with my ABX. I can tell you that on the jars, the doseage is Cumanda 4-10 drops twice daily. The Samento is 1-15 drops twice daily. It states to start with 1 drop and work your way up. I started Herxing when I added 2 drops of it daily with my Abx. The bottles are 30 mls. They should last a long while. They run about $24-$25 a bottle. I hope this helps you. I am sorry you are having such a problem finding a Dr. to listen to you. I hope things are going to start to change in the medical world. Something has to change.

Hey RD,
I'm going to be doing the same as you very soon - like as soon as I can actually think & function!

I'm going to do the "KingBio" Lymeplex, as my Pharmacist - whom I trust very much- has it in stock & sells it for $18.00 / bottle. My Pharm also recommends KingBio products.

If your current doc won't even talk about LD with you, maybe you should find a different doc?
Mine at least says that LD is waaaaayyy too complicated an issue & he wouldn't know what he is doing as far as any tx.

I'll post any info I discover about the KingBio products that I take.

Hello, I can't stand Drs some times. I am so sorry you do not have the money to se an LLMD. No Dr here in oregon would treat my Lyme with 8 positive tests. Well I shouldn't say that I found a great Nurse Practioner which has helped write my antibiotics with LLMDs advice. But it still took alot of time. I had to borrow money from Family to see my Dr in Conecticut. He helped so much came up with new ideas.

I am sorry but I can't remember all your symptoms and test results. I do remember the pictures of your Rots, such cute dogs. We have a mutt that has looks like a Rot she's great. Do you mind sharing your whole story with me again and I will see what advise I can give you from my personal experiences.

I would love to see a permant post where we could all leave our storys so I could remember. My brain only holds things for short times.

I'm doing the salt/c protocol in addition to herbs and diflucan. I've only been on the salt/c for two weeks, but it does cause a herx reaction and it has helped with the swollen joints and sore feet. If you google it, you'll find lots of info. It's mainly taking sea salt (not table or Morton's sea salt) with water three or four times a day. LOTS and LOTS of water. 1 gram of salt per 15/lbs. of body weight, starting with less and ramping up to maximum amount. You must remember to eat bananas with this to keep your potassium levels normal. There are forums of people using this and feel they do better than just using abx. IDK.

Thank you so much for sharing your experience. It's been hard for her to get antibiotics so we are all trying to help her get treated with something more natural and less expensive.

Do you use powdered Vitamin C? And where can she get the sea salt?

Thank you all for your wellness to help. i so appreciate it. as for my story i did kinda retell it in my post so fed up..lol mainly most all my blood work came back in the normal ranges but on the low side. my cholesterol is very very high tho, and my WBC has been elevated for 2 yrs now that i know of.

i have always been one who did not go to Dr unless i was dieing more or less. if its broke they can fix it. other then that i just never went. so i blow out my knee. witch i have had trouble with for a long time. to the point i taught blue from a pup to help me when i got down on the floor to stand up.
so in Oct. 2 y/o i blow out my know to the point i could not walk at all. i went to the ER then. had surgery on it 8 months later, took that long to get some form of ins to cover it.
afterwards i was in PT for almost 2 months and still couldn't walk. no one understood it, not my PT nor my Drs.

i have for many yrs now had point trouble, but never the jumping pain i have now. well seeing as i have coverage to go to a DR i got a sinus infection in march. went to the DR for it. i was given doxy after 5 to 7 days of it and getting so sick, alone with extreme pain i had to stop taking it. then i found a lesion in my left eye. they gave me prednisone for that. boy what a mistake that was. the very first one i took i turned beet red and have such extreme pain all over i literally hurt to look at myself. i tried to take it even after all this as i was told it could affect my right eye too. so after 3 days i just couldn't handle it anymore and the eye DR took me off it. she then ran a MRI. witch showed the brain lesions 10 to 15 of them.
they had stated that lyme was a possible cause. this was in april. so i asked for my PCP to run a lyme test. lets rule it in or out. well low and behold it came back IgM positive, bands 23 & 41.

and the rest is history......

I got "Real Salt" (about $5) at the local health food store. I'm using Ester C, tablet form, that I bought at the grocery store. They were about $9 for 90 - 1000 mg tablets. You could easily start this while waiting to see if you can get in with a LLMD.

How can you have Positive Lyme tests and they won't treat you. Have you ever been tested for CPN, I just tested positive and the treatment is antibiotics. My Dr said CPN can also cause MS stuff. I also tested positive for Lyme.

Aren't you in Texas how far to the Mexican Border to buy your own antibiotics. Minocycline I have been told is great for nuero stuff and it is cheap.

So sorry your in such desperation I remember that feeling well. I am nervous to bring results to my local drs for new treatment last time My Nuero fired me after I came back form Coecticut with an antibiotic treatment plan. We'll see how it goes this time.

Beth, i live closer to Co then i do Mexico really. i'm in the northern panhandle. and i would never try abx in the cillin family without Drs care. as i am allgeric to pinacillin. i was given ampacillin about 30 yrs ago, and it put my in a semi-comma for 17 hours. luck thing was i was at the hospital when it happened.

if i was tested for CPN, i dont know about it, so i would guess they havent tested me for it.

scorpio, i wish the same too, this seems to be my last shot at getting help, i so pray the new DR in Co. will take my ins. i hope your doing well, and know i have missed you lately.

RD, I am so sorry about your situation. Sadly, this is far too common! If your Dr thinks he's so goll durn brilliant, WHAT does he have to say about your high WBC?? IMO, a 'Dr' who ignores this is negligent! He should NOT be discharging you until he has found your infection and treated it!

Does anyone know of a 'medical board' to whom RD could make a complaint? RD, you would not have to mention Lyme, or you could state that you obviously have some type of infection which could be lyme, mono, you could name several, and then state that your Dr will not help you.

Almost forgot to say that I'm sorry about you having to fight so hard in this.  So I'm not really suggesting that you don all battle gear and get out there. But seriously, someone needs to help you.  Abx are far too cheap to deny them. when your labs clearly show infection.

Lyme, my eye DR who also ran my WBC, said they thought it was do to my arthritis's, my body fighting it off. but that my lvls was elevated at the exact number from the 6 months prior, and then i found out they have been high for awhile really thro me for a loop too as to why it was high and no one told me about it.

and believe me once i do get to see a LLMD or someone willing to treat me. i will be talking to the lawyer again. so hopefully no one else here will have to go thro the same BS

You can experiment (it's all any of us do anyway with this!) the following:

tumeric - anti inflammatory

garlic - anti cysts

cats claw - anti cysts

try eating avacodos too. they make me feel great!

Get exercise -- vigorous if you can stand it.

Detox -- use a sauna or hot tub.

This is all I'm doing and it helps keep things in check.

Hi RD!

Hope you find the best combination that will work for you. Don't forget your multivitamin and probiotics. In addition to whatever else you decide, another thing to add could be ginger tea. I knew it was anti-inflamatory, but recently read that it is also antibacterial and antiviral.

thank you for the info :) i also use garlic on almost everything, always have tho. as i know its a natural abx. i am taking so many different vits now it drives me crazy. coming from someone who wouldnt even take aspirin b4.

today i am doing kinda good not to much pain at all, this is a first for me in 2 yrs. and its a good thing too as i am now haven to bottle feed puppies to help supplement. i dont think momma has enough for her huge litter. i hope i stay doing good for at least another week an a half. then i can start em on some puppy mush.

I can't offer any advice but I offer you my support and I can tell you I am right where you are. I have been to a good doc who clinically diagnosed me but, my insurance refuses to pay for my treatment. The most I can get is doxy.

I am wondering how your friend is doing too. The one on the chemo.
