I ordered some books about Lyme Disease

I just got them in. I ordered, "Everything you need to know about Lyme Disease(part 2)" and "Cure Unknown." I figured I could do some reading if I get bored waiting in the hotel to see my new doctor.

What else do you all recommend?

I do not know if you already have these, but I have "The Lyme Disease Solutuion" by Dr. Kenneth Singleton and "Healing Lyme" by Stephen Harrod Buhner. I am going to purchase "Cure Unkown." I hear it is a must read.

healing lyme by stephen Harrod Buhner is one book that my llmd recommended.  The one thing that you will find that it is very hard to get a straight answer on diet.  Every book tells you alittle different.  I have gotten alot of material out of "Healing Lyme".  Hope it can help.

I don't have any books on Lyme and can honestly say I find all I need to know right here.

I'm sure if I had chronic Lyme I would be buying some books. You have no idea how my heart goes out to anyone with CLD. I know how I feel just trying to get over 1st stage and also know it's nothing compared to CLD or maybe you call it 3rd stage.

When does the d#@n fatigue go away !

MV: I don't know if I want to read Lab 257 now! lol. I know how I get and it will make me mad. Awww, I miss little kitties. I used to save stray cats/kittens, get them healthy, then find them good homes. I miss their playfullness and little attitudes.

Coping With Lyme Disease by Denise Lang. GREAT book!!! GREAT GREAT GREAT!

I really recommend "Cure Unknown". I got my whole family to read it, and they found it interesting, and it helped them understand what I was dealing with better. It really explains practically everything- from symptoms, treatment, and the whole controversy.

Yes- the ending is sad, but I think things have improved since the end of the book. Dr.'s have the "Lyme disclaimer" form now, which helps them avoid law suits, which was the main reason for the negative ending.

I do have Herbal Antibiotics by Stephen Harrod Buhner, but didn't get the one specifically for Lyme yet.

What I have been reading lately is Excuses Begone by Wayne W. Dyer. It was a birthday gift and it is another piece that seems to be fitting into the puzzle of getting me to my full potential as far as health and in all of life. I'm also finally getting acupunture, to see if that helps with my hormonal balance, and the slight neck stiffness.

It sounds like you have enough material for now, but if you want more suggestions, I've been reading different ideas about holistic and alternative healing therapies.

I got word on a newly released (I think) book - IMHO one that every LD patient ought to, deserves to have access to -not t o mention every doc in this country & elsewhere!!

I have as of yet to order my copy, but you can be sure I will, as it has the potential to offer decent effective tx - no matter where one lives.
