I will try to be more succinct than usual (......) If, by any chance, my LLMD is on this forum and knows who I am, I am sorry about
some of the stuff I must say.
I have a clinical diagnosis of lyme, known tick bite, (no rash), +39 IgG band, CD57 strongly backing lyme diagnosis. Also positive test for babesia and positive for every virus tested for, plus the usual messes: thyroid, adrenal fatigue, etc.
I cannot return to the LLMD who did these tests and gave me the diagnosis. That story is way too long for today, but if it's needed for anyone to understand why I won't go back, I'll get into it.
Meantime, I am still on a LLMD 2's waiting list. Could be a few more months, I am still pushing for sooner.
I left LLMD 1"s office w/o script for babesia, not sure why (I had a stack of scripts) I called AND emailed LLMD 1 requesting some treatment for babs. Call was never acknowledged or returned,
Called LLMD 1 to request a refill on the Amox, promising to make an appt. Nurse left a message, giving me an appt date and sorry she did not hear the rest of my message. I called and left another message, specifically about the Amox, requesting refill and giving pharm number. No replies, no refill.
I really wanted the Amox refill, but looks like I'm not gonna get it and am cancelling this LLMD's appt. I can't afford this kind of care.
Not sure , but seems I'm experiencing some improvement AFTER a horrible few days last week. I have about 2 1/2 more days worth of Amox.
I have maybe close to 60 100 mg capsules of Doxy, leftover from preventative treatment for a new bite before starting Amox.
Questions:
Should I just go on and start up w/ the Doxy when Amox is gone?
Should I wait a day or 2 between?
Should I just try staying off of anything until I can get into LLMD 2?
What is this about Doxy causing depression?
I went thru a mess before treatment and then again shortly after starting Amox, which worsened until a few days ago. I think I feel some relief from that now, maybe too soon to say. I have slight improvement of fatigue as well.
I don't believe I can handle any more meds that cause depression, unless you believe the depression is caused by the disease and/or the herx and not really the doxy. (depression is a possible side effect of Amox also)
