Doctor's visit

So yesterday my doc said, "It won't be long now before Lyme disease is just something you discuss at the dinner table. You know, something like, 'Oh yes, I had Lyme disease, but that's all over now.'"

Can't wait!

Oh, I've been being treated for 19 months now. It's been a hard slog, but I'm seeing the end of the tunnel.

I tested positive for Ehrlichia, though I had a lot of symptoms of bartonella as well.

You know, I have forgotten a lot of my treatment....
This is an incomplete list of the antibiotics used:
Doxycycline (had to quit because of allergy) Zithromax, Rifampin, Malarone, Clarythromycin, Mepron, Flagyl. Also took Artemisinin for a long time.

He means I'm getting to the end of my treatment. Sorry, I wish it was some magic cure for everybody.

I was bitten in 1984, was treated inadequately in 1990 and 1991, continued to have symptoms then was bitten again in August 2007. Started treatment in May 2008.
