How long am I going to feel like this?!

I'm so sorry to hear about what you are going through! Lyme is easiest to rid the body of when it is caught early like it was for you. Most knowledgeable docs will treat for two months after all symptoms have resolved. Each person is different though. That's part of what make Lyme so tricky to treat.

May I also suggest that you get started detoxing? It will help you feel a lot better sooner. Deejavu has a great post in the thread at the top of the forum titled "New to Lyme? Start here" that list what you need to get started.

Should we assume that you are taking high dose antibiotics? You are fortunate to test positive so close to developing symptoms, it took me six weeks before my western blot came back positive. My initial symptoms were flu like with high fever, chills and night sweats, I also had blood in my urine from what I now believe was the co-infection babesia. My fever, chills and night sweats resolved after two weeks on Cipro. I was initially mis-diagnosed with diverticulitis and later found out from my GI doctor that I don't have it. Four weeks later I was hospitalized for a week, my lyme test came back positive while I was in the hospital and they switched my IV-Meds over to Doxycyline. You will want to see a LLMD (Lyme Literate Medical Doctor) and stay on top of it. Hope that you see some improvement soon.
