I was just curious how many are from the South. I am from North Alabama.
I found this article and it is really interesting regarding Lyme in the South. It is really long, but very informative!

Georgia----north of Atlanta. GA Lyme Association is a great resource! I spent an hour and a half on the phone with Liz from the association a couple of weeks ago---she knows the "politics' behind Lyme--especially as it regards the CDC!!

I was bit in Athens Georgia...I now live in Richmond Virginia though. There are more treatment options here than there were in Georgia!

I'm not from the S orginally, but have lived in DFW, Greenville, and Houston areas of TX. I suspect I may have contracted LD in the Clarksville area of NE TX. At least I had tick bites there. Never had an EM rash.
