Hi everyone

I was just wondering if anyone else ever has a really good day, with not to many symptoms?

The last two days I have felt pretty good, not as good as I used to feel of course (prior to illness), I am not symptom free by any means, but by my standards I would class it as a good day.

I still have general fatigue and aches everywhere, but headache is not present, and my legs are fine, and even my eyes today feel quite normal.

Does this happen to anyone else with Lyme? I'm wondering because I have not felt good for a very long time! I am not an any treatment yet either.

Any input would be much appreciated.

Yes, I have good days, with VERY minor pain and No brain fog. Fatigue is mostly in the afternoon-night for me, on my good days, so I am having a good half a day, when I can do 90% of the things I used to. Enjoy your good days--hopefully they will last forever.

i m this way alot. my aches and pains come and go. some days are better than others. mine can come on in a matter of seconds and be gone just as quickly. it is a roller coaster. today my head hurts and i have the brain fog and i just want to cry. who knows where it will be in an hour. i just took my b12 so i am hoping that helps because it is time to go to work.

A month ago, I had two really good days. It was if the Lyme was gone. I probably over did life, but I felt pain free and ready to go. It lasted 2 days. I was disappointed, but looked at the hope that maybe some day it will be that way all the time.

yes. this is pretty normal for lyme. you can have really good days and really bad days and a lot of in between days. It's a good sign too that you are having good days. Once the good days out weight the bad days you may be on the road to recovery.

Thanks for the replies everyone.

I am not on any treatment yet, I am seeing an LLMD in two weeks.

I was wondering if anyone had any good periods before they started treatment as well as afterwards.

I think I spoke to soon, as I feel horrible today! Though I enjoyed it while it lasted!

I also would like to know if it's possible to start feeling better and recover if you haven't been treated with antibiotics. I had a rash that lasted a month and Lyme symptoms every day for 3 months, but the past week or so I am feeling better (not symptom free, but definitely better). Does this mean that my body is successfully fighting off the disease?

I'm not as experienced as others on this board re Lyme, however I do know that if you have had these symptoms for 3 months and the rash, that you body will not fight off this disease. You will need treatment.

Have you been tested for lyme or seen a LLMD? If not I would arrange to see one asap, the earlier you start treatment the better.

As others have said, symptoms wine and wane, this does not necessarily mean you are recovering especially without any form of treatment. Please go and see someone, and do not let you regular doctor inform you otherwise, as many doctors are not knowledgeable about lyme.
