I wrote you a long post and lost it, but you can get the name of a doc from the article bellow--read the article and see the name--we are not posting names here, but since this is an article, I think is ok to post

My husband's coworker's husband was treated by that doc+you can read from the article what happened to this guy although he had a neg
testMy take on this:
I do not trust neg tests so much. I tested + for lyme, took abx for 3 weeks. a few wks later I tested neg.
My symptoms came back withing months and I had 4 tests since then, all +. Why 4 tests? Bec my GP kept telling me I am cured and he said they are false +
I am now with a different GP which told me the tests are not false +, and I am treated by a LLMD which also said my tests are +.
My oppinion:
Second test was wrong, the abx did not work bec the spirochettes went in hiding to escape the abx (they love to do that).
In the most sick Lyme patients, tests are neg bec the bacteria moved out of the blood.
TESTS TEST for
ANTIBODIES THAT ONE'S IMMUNE SYSTE IS MAKING IN THE BLOOD! IF THE BACTERIA IS OUT OF THE BLOOD, TESTS CAME BACK NEG, ALTHOUGH THE PATIENT IS VERY INFECTED AND SICKER THAT SOMEONE THAT HAS A POSITIVE TEST (IN WHICH CASE THERE WOULD BE EVIDENCE THAT THE BACTERIA IS IN THE BLOOD--much easier to kill w. abx at this stage and much harder when is no longer in blood).
Obviously, my first GP was an idiot, my body would not make antibodies against a disease I don't have, over and over again, for over one year!
I hope you will switch to a different GP asap and also see a LLMD! If you don't have lyme, great, but let a professional decide that, not a lousy GP that doesn't know what he/she is doing!
Hope this helps,
Good luck!
