Cold ears--not looking forward to this winter...

As the weather started to cool, my ears seem to be super sensitive to the cold climate.  The ringing and pain that was unbearable for about 2 months almost went away completely for a few days, but now the pain is back when going outside.  It is not only inside my ears, but every spot of my ears.  I had a hood on to keep them warm today and it was still unbearable. Is anyone else going through this?

Have you consulted an E.N.T. to make sure there's nothing (physiologically) going on that may be causing this pain? It seems ear problems ARE often worse in the cooler weather and winter months... Get a good pair of ear muffs!

I actually had some ear problems today for the first time in a LONG while... I have a history of many sets of ear tubes, which have been life-savers!

I've had 3 MDs looking at them, but not a specialist. They all said it is a virus bec there is no infection. I tested + for the Parv virus, so I am assuming that must be it? Never had problems before, this is new :(
