Well, I look at it this way, I occasionally will let some people know some of the basics, like the inaccuracy of the testing and the fact that mainstream doctors don't have all the information. Most people really don't care one way or the other unless they are sick or someone they know is sick and not getting answers or getting better. They won't remember anything I tell them anyway and just think I want attention for my own illness and they have their own illnesses and problems. The only people who listen at all are those that think they may have it and then they ask a ton of questions. They go on with their lives and never give it another thought or even bother to ask how I'm doing. They either get better or get some other diagnosis and don't want anything to do with this crazy disease! I had to go through hell to figure this out - and didn't want to believe it was anything serious or that I would have trouble getting rid of it because it's just too bizarre to be true - and if they are having the same problems getting diagnosed or getting well, eventually they will listen and then maybe they will tell a few people. As somone once said on here, you can lead a horse to water but you can't make them drink it.
