I KNOW that lyme can affect your menstral cycle but does anyone still have sore breasts after woulds...its been almost 2 weeks and there still tender.... i notice this every month. and probally one week out of the month I dont have pms symptoms... sooo annoying ;(

Oddly enough I am going through the same thing.. Turns out I am on my 2nd period this month.. Pretty sure I am in Pre menopause and most likely have been since I am about 32 probably brought on by my long standing lyme and other tick infections...I had my first cycle this month on the 2nd and then about 2 weeks later my breasts were sore again and I was like huh? Whats this, can't be..Well it is.. Got my 2nd cycle this month last night.. Maybe this could be whats happening with you too?

hi loves2shop... i am on the pill so maybe my body is wanting to have 2 in one month... i am starting my 3rd week of birth control pills and i feel like i am going to get my period..... it must be the same thing you have but my pill prevents me to have another one in a month... i am almost 32 and i hope i am not have pre menopause.... My mom got it when she was in her early 40's so not looking forward to this lol....

I am sorry to hear that you are going through this also.. my lyme dr said that lyme does mess up your menstal cycle but this is ridicoulis ( i think i spelled that wrong lol)

I am well past menopause -- I think I finished around 10 yrs ago. I think Lyme must mess w/ our hormones and maybe that is what is happening w/ you ladies above?

My first LLMD pointed out several of my hormones that were out of whack, but he prescribed weird stuff that would have cost a fortune and I never bought them.

Anyway, my breasts are sometimes tender, mostly they are just uncomfortable, But here is the thing: my weight has varied a lot most of my life. (20-25 lbs), but I never changed bra size. After the tick bite, when I started putting on weight (low thyroid) , my boobs started growing and I've gone up 2 cups. I don't look huge, but they feel huge and heavy. The only thing I can figure out is it must be hormones.

Too bad -- I always wanted bigger ones. But now that I'm almost 58, it's too late and I wish I didn't!

Oh OK I hadn't realized you were on the pill.. One of the side affects from the pill is breast tenderness and soreness.

+lyme... yes thats how they feel.. i havnt gone up in bra size but they feel bloated and heavy and tender it sucks...

love2shop...i have been on the pill since i was 18 so not sure if it is from that or not... I think its my hormones. cause my lyme dr told me this past summer that it was... but i just get nervouse of why they hurt and is there anything i can do to help the tenderness... anything i can eat different or cut out?
