There is a 'thing'' with magnesium. It has a good ability to pull more water in to the intestines. Great if you suffer with constipation, like me.... but I'm sure you can see the down side if you have any other condition where you already deal with diarrhea!
With that being said, I take 250 mg am & pm. It really depends on what your body will tolerate. Build slowly, giving each new step a few days for your body to adjust.
