Hi all I would just like to talk to people who are going through the same thing as me so here goes, I started feeling dizzy and having really bad panic attacks back in October also buzzing in my ears so the doctor sent me to see a ent doctor who said my right ears was clear but my left was full of wax so he gave me some drops, after a couple of weeks I started feeling dizzy when I walked an even when I closed my eyes an I could not sleep an was crying at how down I was feeling, went back to the doctors who tested me for thyroid problems they came back normal, my symptoms now are headfog, depression, anxiety, can't sleep or eat I've lost over a stone in a couple of months back hurts and so do my knees an sometime my face feels numb on 1 side I am really depressed an I no this sounds weird but I don't feel like myself anymore like I'm just a body an a thought an a pair of eyes which is also getting me down I just want to feel like me again, so after getting no joy with the doctors I started looking things up an found Lyme disease had a look at the symptoms which most of them I have an also saw the rash you get an yep I also had that back in September, my doctors not interested about
what I'm going through so was just wondering if anyone on here felt the same. Sorry for the long post but it's the first time I have explained how I feel as I think I'm going a little crazy xxx

Marzena,
I just read your post and noticed that you shake when you are hungry. You could have low blood sugar. You may want to have that checked.

Have you ever done a 5 hour glucose test? It's an old test that I had to take because my doctor's kept saying that my sugar was okay. Well....it wasn't and by the time I finished the test, I nearly passed out. Doctor's order the glucose test that you have to fast for overnight. Sometimes those tests don't pick up low blood sugar. if you are shaking when you don't eat, then something is wrong.

Yes, Lyme can cause motion-sickness, or make it worse if you already had it before getting Lyme...
Low blood sugar: Requires B-Complex vitamins (to help reduce sugar cravings), protein-containing snacks every 2 hours between meals, and a diet that has a low glycemic index (meaning if you want to eat sugar, eat it with protein and fiber to reduce the glycemic index...glycemic index is essentially the impact upon the body from the sugar...since fiber binds sugar and slows down its absorption, there is no insulin spike to cause a sugar-high and sugar-crash....a sugar crash can cause fatigue, dizziness, shakes, sweating, chills, sugar cravings, etc.).
Thyroid support may also help...see http://stopthethyroidmadness.com for more details...

079,
If you have already had a Western Blot test done, the specialist you go to will look at that. Just because it says "negative", doesn't necessarily mean that it is. Your doctor will look at which bands are positive and also take your symptoms into consideration. This is a Lyme specialist right?
I have had derealization and depression. I used to get really bad panic attacks too when all of this first started. Make sure to let your new doxtor know what is going on.

The most important thing is to get a copy of your lyme test and post the results here. A negative result means nothing. I believe most people with lyme have a negative result. It is the banding that matters. Only a doctor familiar with lyme will be familiar with a western blot. For some ungodly reason, the CDC sets the guidelines for a lyme test for surveilance reason only and not for accurate results. They admit that lyme must be a clinical diagnosis and not based on testing alone. Hopefully someday we can get this changed.
