Ivermectin (horse, pet wormer) for Lyme?

This is how i found out I had lyme disease. I went to work with 4 different specialists in Seattle. MD's and Naturopaths and Professors from Bastyr University. The first thing they gave me was a stool test from Metametrex Labs. It was about $395 and the results were shocking that I had strongylides, diaomebia fragialis and hoookworm. It also did all of the gut readings like candida and how you digest things. It was the 2100 series if you have a naturopath you can get from them.

The naturoath gave me a big expensive bottle of horrible herbs to take for 3 months and by day 2 i thought I was going to die so I looked up on the internet what all these parasites were and found ou that if you are on prednisone and have strongylides it is deadly.

I went to the MD naturopath and she prescribed 4 tablets of IVERMECTIN for STRONGYLIDES and I felt lik a new person. My lungs opened up and chest was so light I was jogging up the path and singing. Flipped me out.

Then the Hep C researcher I was seeing told me all these parasites and all my neuro problems and pain is big indication of lyme. She referred me to a tick borne specialist who was brilliant.

The tick borne kept me on the ivermictin for almost a month because I was on prednisone. She spent almost 2 hours with me talking and looking at me and said... " I am a thousand percent sure you have lyme and for at least half your adult life."

I have told this story so many times on the forum. She gave me TEASEL ROOT AND JAPANEESE KNOTWEED TINCTURE to take for 7 days BEFORE going for blood work. Please pay attention here folks who know they are sick but nothing coming out in blood work or even spinal tap. I think she gave me the tinctures to bring this stuff out into the blood. I got sick as a dog and she told me if I had lyme I would be herxing from the tinctures.

26 tubes between Lab corp, Quest and Igenex. She proved everything HHPV6, Chlamydall pneumonia, EBV,
Parvo, Bartonella, Erechilles, lyme and all kinds of other stuff. There was no way anyone could dispute these results and she was able to tell this has been going on long time.



Before going to the Tick Borne Specilist I was sent to infectious disease doctor by my Naturopath, MD.

Great hospitol, very professional but the Infectious disease doctor poo pooed the test from that lab and told me with these naturopaths you have to follow the money trail. He was a real know it all about 32 yrs old. It was a naturopath, MD that had reffered me to him. I couldn't believe what he was saying and he was denying the fact that I had the parasites and gave me prescription to do his stool test and some blood work....none of it for lyme.

Meantime I had already taken the Ivermectin and knew how much better I felt but I didn't do meds yet for the othr 2 parasites. I went back to him the next week for folllow up of blood work he had taken and I never did his stoo test and for some strange reason he just wrote the prescrition for the other 2 parasites . I think he was covering his ass or spoke to his boss after I left the first time . It was weard but he never looked for lyme in the blood work and he really thought he was all done after prescribing for the other 2 parasites. HE NEVER ONCE SAID A WORD about POSSIBLE LYME. Where did he think all these parasites came from out of the blue?


I should send him all my blood work now. This is so typical of what is going on out there in medicine world.
Who on this forum has not been tested for parasites? My gut was a complete mess before I took all the parasite medicine. Now it never blows up after I eat and I eat wheat and glueten and dairy. It may or may not be the best for me but my stomach no longer has this volcanic combustion going on anymore.

I have done all the wheat grass fasts and retreats and worked in raw food communities and healing centers.
I've done tons of parasite and liver cleanses with $400 worth of herbs ans special this and that. NONE OF IT GOT RID OF THOSE PARASITES. I was stunned with those test results. But now I don't have big gutt problems like I did before.

I am so glad you brought this strongyides thing up, Cat and apologize for such a long story here but this is critical stuff.

How many people here have been tested for parasites in stool test?

yes I was given 4 ivermictin 3mg

my weight then was 130 to 135 lbs.

they prescribe by weight and very expensive.

this reciept I have is $110 for 4 pills but that cant be right!!!

Imtoo fogged out to even check back in thar one. but that was the first dose given to me by the origional naturopath, MD. Then when I ent to the tick born doctor she gave me anothe 30 days of it.

I think she gave me that much because I was on prednisone at the time

what I found in my research was that if you have parasites and are on steroids they go rampant . I was having all these symptoms of heart attack. I used to drive my car gripping the steering wheel looking for an emergency room. I think a lot of asthma people really have parasites in their lungs.

I have dove done every natural, herbal parasite cleanse you ever heard of and was shocked at the findings in my stool test. I remember being pissed that it was first thing they asked me to do because it was so much money. After I found out I had my lover get the same test and then she was pissed a me hat she didn't have any of what I had but the even more interesting thing was that all the other info from the stool test told her that she did not have candida very bad like we thought and that all the flatulance was from pancreatic insuffienccy which is also very dangerous if you do not get a handle on it.

There is so much info that comes off of this particular stool test it is way worth the cost.
I want to have one done every year to see if these parasites come back.

when they are checking the parasites they check to see which herbal concotion will kill it and which pahrmacutical. they give you either way to treat.

I have considered ivermectrin, i will just use the kind for 3.99 (generic) I use on our horses. I know of a woman who cured herself this way, my brother who has lyme and morgelllons put the paste on his sores which worked!! He did not take it orally,


If I knew I had an active infection I'd have drank it a long time ago. But I wonder if the stuff i have now is residual.

Ha, ha! Now we just have to figure out how much to lick off the end of the tube !!! I'll try and figure it out. Maybe my vet will know.

I have this weard suspicion that there are vetinarians that know more about treatments for lyme thanmost doctors.
it is expensive in human pill form but I swear I was blown away by the relief. There are so many symptoms it's a big celebration to have one lifted. I havent taken it since last year and took one today. I want to see what happens after couple days. keep youz posted

CAT, do u know if it possible to get strongylides from infected horses?

don't have horses so how would it be possible for me to get this and try it, if I get the courage?

I have to add this because it's funny...

Had a client whose cat had herpes in her eye. Vet told her that the cat got it from its mommie. Client said "but I don't have herpes!". LOL. Vet explained it was her cat-mommie after he scraped himself off the floor from laughing so hard!

i am reading some articles and they are saying that people tooke the ivermectin for thier lymes and it helped.

I was prescribed the ivermectin specifically for the strongylides that was
found in my stool test.

It is common for people to have parasites like this and hookworm and diaomebiafragelis and another one or two but I never hear of anyone getting a simple stool test never mind the $395 one I did.
I keep coming across this information about parasites the ticks carry and how they still create so much trouble for people being treated with abx for the lyme stuff but never the parasites.

why wouldn't this be on the list of even the FIRST test if it is such a tip off that you have a tick borne infection? It is such a simple thing.

My naturopath in Seattle insisted I use this metemetrex lab because they
were much more thorough than the regular labs.

i still think parasites is a major thing for asthma people.

Let's see if i feel any better after taking this ivermectin for a few days even though i supposedly got rid of them after taking for almost a month last year for strongylides. Either the strongylides came back and it will feel better OR the ivermectin is getting to the lyme or any of all the other coinfections I have.

Oh just read Trav's post she is totally right. Its dangerous and foolhardy and I would not ever recommend it for anyone. Honestly I would not i was just thinking of me i have gone barefoot all mi life on the farm in all kinds of manure, it just happens when u hate shoes.

Lets see how i do on the people ivermectin pills I'm gonna take next few days.

They cost a fortune. so if they really work we can all get together and knock off a pharmacy.

I could use a little excitement in my life. In fact, let's use some of those horses and a buggy and we won't have to worry about any eye wittness taking a liscence plate down. We'll just make a clean get away!!

I took the first one today. I'm kind of afraid to say I had a good evening. It could just be because it is about 9 days past the full moon.
