Crying, So sad today.

Went to wake yesterday of close friend. Was ok until I saw him in casket and sobbed, how embarassing!  Crying now!  I loved him!   Oh, it hurts!   I think the stress increased my symptoms; weak, pain in joints and cold like feeling.

Thanks for understanding!   God, it's hard losing friends!!!!!!!!     He suffers no more, but I'm hurting for his absence! He picked me up when I wanted to comitt suicide.   He'll be so missed!   Not emotionally well enough to attend funeral today!

i know this stress can make symptoms worse.

do you have stuff for a good bath?

even just salt, would feel good.

i hope you can think of cellebrating his life with praises and grattitude.

i know it hurts...

I'm so very sorry for your loss, yes, it hurts to lose someone we care about..  I lost my baby brother from melanoma skin cancer and I didn't get to say goodbye to him due to his wife..  That hurt also.. 

It's okay to talk about it here, that's why we are here to listen..  A little thing that helped me was writing a letter to my baby brother, guess because I let out my feelings on paper..  I don't know why that helps but it does..

Anyway, really sorry for your loss,

So sorry to hear about your friend. Yes stress does make symptoms worse. Try and take something to calm your nervous system. I lost my uncle and my brother while trying to get a diagnosis and both were devastating. I remember I couldn't attend my uncle's funeral because I could not stop shaking at his wake and didn't want to be an embarassment. It is just terrible that the body doesn't calm down when you want it to. Take it easy. Give yourself a few days to recover.

I too am so very sorry for your loss - I can understand why he meant so much to you.

As the others have said - it's time to pamper yourself a bit!!! Take a nice long soak, get in your most comfy jammies, and watch a nice, happy movie.

Also, as Deejavu said - we are here for you in this as well.

Ohhhh....so very sorry to hear of the loss of your friend!  My thoughts are with you.  And never be embarassed by emotions that come with hurtful, sorrowing, difficult moments.  We're only human.

And yes.....stress can definitely make symptoms worse.  Take care of YOU now.  It will get better.

Thanks Everyone! It just takes getting used to, I need a little time.

I stayed home and didn't do anything but shop. I made a delicious new dish for dinner. Very good!

I also am very sorry for your loss. Even though I am new here, I feel very welcomed as we all navigate through this thing called lyme. I hope we can be there for you, and you for me, whenever need be.

With that being said, I wanted to let everyone know you don't need an invitation to email me. I welcome all emails.

Take care of yourself and remember it's ok to cry.

The loss of a friend is a huge loss. Sounds like he was a good friend to you. I read this somewhere and thought of you:


"There are some who bring a light so great to the world that even after they are gone the light remains."

It sounds like your friend.

This is not a small thing, HH, so take extra care, Try not to loose your breath,

we literally stop breathing when we try not to cry so if you have to then have a BIG one.

crying is good release. The world is spinning so fast it seems like more and more are leaving.

This guy sounds like an Angel to me so I am sure he is off to a great peaceful place.

More than ever when stuff hits us hard we have to dig deep into our core.

A loss like this, if we don't watch, can cause relapse. Keep your Spirit strong and know that

you still have a lot of great friends here for what ever you're going through and how much

you made a difference always supporting us.

Thx. my Lyme friend!

I'm so delighted he suffers no more! As we get older we realize that it's a better place we move to! I know the day will come when all of us will suffer no more! This excites me beyond words!
