Everyone here has been so helpful, especially to the new members and I want to say THANK YOU! It is really hard for myself and Traveler sometimes to post on everyone's post to offer help because we are sick too. I appreciate everyone chipping in. Some of you are very knowledgeable and I appreciate you taking time to help others in need when you yourself are sick and looking for answers. This is what this forum is all about:) Thanks so much everyone!

Also a fairly newbie with lots of questions. Sometimes I feel bad asking so many but I'm trying to understand this horrid disease.

May I add my gratitude & thanks as well? Not only to the other members here, but to you, Cajungrl, as well!!

I know that without this site, I would have 'gone off the deep end'. This disease takes over ones' life and that's not easy to deal with.

I have received tons of support, answers and suggestions here, but the most valuable help I received was the knowledge that I had a ton of people that really could understand what it is like!!

Thank you All!! From the older members that I met when I was a newb to the newest of members.... I'm sure that we all add to this wonderful support system that is here!!

I'm new here. Thanks for this site. Sometimes I feel like we have to police ourselves as it seems that some doctors either don't know things, or give the general "you're fine" talk, or not really wanting to try to figure out whats wrong and pass you on to doctor B.

Seems like many years ago when I was a kid doctors spent more time caring rather than the assembly line feeling I get today.

We are closer than it seems some days to really being recognized as a major health issue.

The more we post sharing love and information the more support will be given in all areas of medicine to
research this plague and all the other unanswerable conditions out there.

I have only been here for little over a year but have gotten more answers, clues, hopes and laughs on this forum
than any other professionals, friends or family.

Thank you too........to every one.

Abundance can only occur in a state of gratitude. I am so grateful to all here and the difference between being in this alone and having this sharing community changes the whole picture for me.

I have my LLMD to thank for saving my life as without her and her offering me treatment I'm sure, eventually I would have done something it would've been too late to regret. And without this forum and it's members talking openly, honestly and knowledgebly I'd no doubt would have lost my wife and family. I've lost most of my friends through lack of understanding of this illness but at least those who took the time to discover the complexity of LD and the personal challenges it poses have an understanding of how LD affects the sufferer. I always recommended reading this forum to get a glimpse of the personal challenges of sufferers, it's a great forum with great members and great moderators, I'd have been in a very dark place without this virtual family. I have alot to thank you all for.

Just want 2 thank u to, I'm new here an have posted a few questions an had answers back so I'm really greatfull 2 u and everyone else on here because if I did not have this site I would of probably gone mad xxxx
