Hey I just thought ...the best way we could get some good press about the plagueness and seriousness
and existence of lyme is if some drug company advertised their stuff like they do for PMS or depression or
what is the other big one..sexual malfunction viagra type stuff.

It is all bull anyway about those drugs really working but it sure made the world aware of how many marriages were not happening because husbands had a malfunction problem.

I wish they would advertise dozy or roiciphin or samento or oregano oil or what ever for "relief of lyme
disease".

Has anyone seen the commercial of the woman who had fiber and started taking one of these new drugs and how her entire life became a wonderful cream cheeseie existence. Her feet even got prettier.
The before and after was like a SNL skit.

Not that I want drug companies to sell more drugs but it is the best advertisement and way of showing the public that this is everywhere. Nothing should be taboo anymore. I still remember the first time I saw a TAMPAX commercial on TV!!!!! i could NOT believe it was happening. IN ONE DAY , ONE COMMERCIAL opened a whole new awareness of the common fact about menstruation. Right? when just ONE DAY BEFORE it was "just something you don't need to put on TV"

We need to be on TV as a commercial. not just a "special mention". It kind of leaves it as a topic of DEBATE ...does it exhaust? is there a cure? is it abx?

But if a drug company's advertising OR a LAB (ignex) was advertising. It suddenly makes it a fact.

Event e antibiotic companies could advertise doxy or rocephin for "RELIEF of lyme disease" . None of them have to or can claim to be the cure but hearing a commercial will make people get tested when wearied things are happening. Too many people are not even getting diagnosed.

there WAS however a small bio on a girl who had recovered from lyme this was the day dad mentioned on their website.  i think katie is cool i betcha she might help.

I'm writing for the local paper and have gotten two letters printed in four local cities and was featured in the Guest Column; "Volunteering beats depression".

I am writing to the editor a third story; "The Controverial Illness - Lyme". I have to shorten it then I'll submit it.

I'll work on Katie ASAP. I contacted the local CH3 here in Cleve,OH, twice, but they probably think I'm some nut!

Gosh, I would love to do a commercial about Lyme and what to do to prevent it happening to others.

Wish I still had my medical job, I'd have some connections with some drug reps.

Hi guys I'm from England an not many people have heard of this disease including my own doctor. had to find my own specialist which I'm glad about because now I'm getting treated properly, I just can't wait till I'm starting to feel better because everybody in England will no about this disease when I'm finished as I'm going to every paper to tell them how bad I've been treated an to just basically just to make more people aware of this disease x
