Has anyone on this site ever heard of anyone actually being cured of Lyme?

both my lyme docs have lyme. the one is a woman and naturopath, she lost everything, house , practice, relationship and eye sight. she got eye sight back and back to work with full practice also. she told me I will never really get rid of this and it will take years, minimum 2 1/2 to get it all under control. she said the bartonella is very difficult to get rid of. and that it was like having cancer going through the antibiotic treatment and family has got to back you up. she could not figure how I was still walking around and said I had been bit more than once over the years and must have been one of this Block Island ticks (?). she said the ticks carry parasites. she was 1000% sure I had lyme for most of adult life if not longer and this was before the blood work. She knew just from examining me. banging on my knee and watching my eyes follow her finger and then watch me walk across room in line like a drunk driver test. She knew I had Hep C and was still sure all the stroke like headaches and pain in body was lyme.
She is sharp as a tack and if I had insurance to pay for all this stuff I would have stayed where she was in Seattle. She was brilliant but she said I needed IV and that she did not do it herself because of all of the complications people have from getting them installed and then infection. She referred me to NY doctor but I never went because I didn't have $

The second doctor I went to both him and his son has it and they are both doctors and working big schedules. They have all the super natural IV treatments and rife machines and ozone at their finger tips along with all the German homeopath medicines. They told me I should save up for stem cell and now they found lesss expensive $25,000.
They told me even if I got rid of all the lyme I would still be on pain meds for ever. too much damage.

so yes i know of people who have been cured and they are doctors too and they used antibiotics as well as
natural help.
Being on pain medicine everyday is a death sentence. If I increased my cortisone maybe pain would be less but which is worse?

my cousin got bit and knew it and got pills abx and thought she was fine until few months later her tongue and right side went numb on thanks giving. she was sent home with IV rocephin and who knows what. typical Long Island mis treatment. Of all the places you would think they would get it right. I think Long Island (Wrong Island) is completely infested with lyme and other biochemical stuff. they used to have the spray trucks fogging up the whole neighborhood and there is too much military airplane action going on there for last 50 yrs.

so the answer is????? I am actually afraid of antibiotics and really wonder what difference would be at this point if I took it other than loosing my mind with brain herxes.

My father son doctor team gave me levequan like it's nothing for the bartonella and claim it will get rid of it in one month. I haven't cashed the script because I am afraid of it and don't have the money. i have read somewhere of people on it way longer than one month because it didn't knock it out and kind of woke up a monster.

I'ms till waitng to here who got rid of bartonella with levewquan.

Thanks guys for the info I thought I got Lyme from visiting the Catskill game farm 20 years ago we would go there e very summer to pet and feed the deer out of your hand but now I realize that 30 years ago my Mom had a summer house in Orient Point LOng Island and twice we all got covered with ticks walking through the bluffs to the beach(unbelieveable).I ve been dealing with this diease for so many years it makes you wonder what would happen if you just stopped doing abx supplements and fighting the canindia from the darn abx.I guess it would totally dibiliate or kill you rather fast Thanks again Lyme doc has me starting on a-bab another new round of herxes and another adventure. I've heard successful stories as well as unsuccessful stories. Unfortunately most are not successful but that was because they saw an infectious disease doctor, not a Lyme literate doctor.

My llmd has Lyme and is cured of it. I also know another one of his patients and we went from not being able to walk to now being able to run a marathon...

I also remember back in highschool my health teacher was talking about Lyme disease (this was before I knew I had it) and told the class how she feels a hundred percent better after long term treatment and feels like a new person...

But then again I know a few people that have been on treatment for years and have seen very little improvement. I know a guy that has been on it for eleven years and he's still not even half way there yet

In the movie Under Our Skin all of the main characters they followed ended up a hundred percent better after long term treatment. That movie really gave me hope that there is a light at the end of the tunnel and it is possible to be cured

My brothers girlfriend had lyme and was cured with 6 months of Doxy a few years ago. Not sure how long she had had it for, but she had been very tired for a long time plus other symptoms. Suspect a couple of years maybe. So - it is definitely possible to be cured with just one antibiotic and without all the other stuff people insist you need... I suppose different people need different treatments though...
