Lyme stomach bloating and weight gain

Anybody have any answers solutions to lyme weight gain, stomach bloating, I am gaining weight like crazy.  I need help, I am using a natural protocol but I just started using Synthroid, can I use cat's claw with synthroid?  Also, is levaquin helpful since I was just diagnosed in December 2010.  I need all the help I can get.

Synthroid is a thyroid medication isn't it? and I think weight gain is a side effect if I'm not mistaken.

Weight gain can be from either - hypothyroidism or tick-borne infections...lovely huh? I went through this as well and for me I think it was more of an issue with my thyroid than my tbi's.

Before and during the time I was taking Synthroid I had trouble with weight gain myself. I have issues with absorption in my intestines, but once I started taking a Homeopathic for my thyroid, my weight seemed to stabilize. Maybe since you are using a natural protocol for Lyme, you might want to consider using a natural/homeopathic remedy for low thyroid as well?

I have no connection, nor do I receive any kind of compensation whatsoever from this company - but what I use is called NatraBio's Thyroid Supplement. It dissolves under the tongue, so it goes right into the blood stream - bypassing the stomach and the intestines.

It's just something to think on!

Thanks for the information, I appreciate it greatly and will start working on it today. Thy bloating in my stomach comes and goes, it's so bad I can barely zip up my skirts, so I will try to find these products. Did you buy them at a local health store or ordere from online? Also, I have swollen lymph nodes under my right arm as I have been getting lymph drainage massages, but I've had a sonogram and it shows fluid but says it's benign but the doctor agreed the fluid should be drained. Also, are both of these products sold by the same company?

Have you experienced alot of weight gain with lyme, I have. I am in Florida and willing to travel do you know the name of a good doctor as of current I am taking herbal stuff.

what do you take/buy to get rid of biofilms in the gut?

Also, what are biofilm treatments?  Please help ,

What is NAC, also you said you forgot some of the others can you please help me as I am realizing now that this is the only way I can get rid of the Biofilms, did you herz whilce taking any of this stuff, all the information you can give me will help me a lot.
