Female Lyme Question...

I've been having a pretty hard menstraul for the past few days. I'm use to having heavy menstrauls but this one tops them all.. The harder i bleed the more out of it i feel... Could it be because i switched to Rocephin or is it just plain lyme making my hormones go crazy? Any opinions?

Lyme messes big-time with hormones. But could also be peri-menopause, hormone imbalance, etc. Have you asked your Lyme doc or Gyn. about this?

Going on a gluten-free diet took away my menstrual cramps & migraines (I was diagnosed with non-Celiac Gluten Sensitivity). Somehow, the gluten was causing my progesterone level to plummet to 0. Off the gluten, my blood progesterone level is normal. Unfortunately, airborne gluten also affects my progesterone level, so I have to be really, really careful.

I have had much heavier, more difficult periods since tick bite 2 months ago. Was tested and diagnosed 1 month ago and started treatment then. Have been strictly gluten free already for many years. Felt super drained during cycle.
Am generally super sensitive to hormonal shifts and it doesnt feel like that. Just very, very strong periods since bite. Have not tested hormones though, so just guessing. Maybe body is trying to use additional elimination/detox channel to heal??
