Has anyone read "Healing Lyme" Buhner, Stephen Harrod? It would be to one's advantage to get a copy. If anyone has I'd like to communicate with them.

I put out request for Andrographis late last evening. Didn't see it on Planet Thrive. Chinese sites, probably aren't selling Andrographis paniculata. Intend to keep looking. Also, Cats Claw. Buhner's writings, at least "Healing Lyme" are very specific.

You're feeling well on Buhner's protocol? I just placed an order for Andrographis, Astragalus, Japanese Knotweed, Cat Claw (from South America), Smilax. Pound at a time for each and should be sufficient supply for the year that the protocol lasts. "Healing Lyme" is the first protocol I've seen. As an ex-military I am accustom to step A, step B, the step C, if know what I mean.


One last thing. I was informed by an Arkansas Primary Care physican that there is NO lyme disease in Arkansas, but only Lyme borne disease. I'd like to survey and find out just how many Arkansas'er have a diagnosts or Lyme disease. It seems to me that the powers to be, i.e. insurance companies, AMA, CDC don't wish Lyme Disease to be even recognized.

I've been on it about 4 weeks.

Traveler I'm excited to hear you have more energy! I'm feeling soooooooo much better but still struggle with severe fatigue most days.

Hey Bobrm2,

I saw your post a couple of days ago and wanted to wait on my diagnosis to respond about Lyme ticks in Arkansas.  I was biten by a tick 38 years ago while living in Arkansas, which left a bullseye rash.  Lyme was unheard of at the time and since I did not get sick from this there was no need to visit a doctor.  It wasn't until 8 years later that symptoms of Lyme emerged.

I have now been dealing with these symptoms off and on for 30 years and have been diagnosed with Lupus among other autoimmune diseases...the list goes on and on.

I recently visited an LLMD, had my blood sent to Igenex and received the results yesterday.  The test was essentially  negative but showed 1 band positive for "cell of Lyme", according to the nurse.  She said the Doctor was suspicious that I do indeed have Lyme and he has given me the clinical diagnoses for Lyme Disease, and to make an appointment with him to discuss treatment.

I don't know if this answers your question about whether there are Lyme ticks in Arkansas or not, but for me...I'm thinking Arkansas's been infested for a long time.

Thank you for your response. I think the disease is so confusing (symptoms) for one thing, pressure from AMA, and a lack of leadership from the CDC that doctors just don't wish to get involved. I saw a documentary, can be see on Netflix. It's name is "underOURskin". Some of my opinion is derived from this film. It gives on an understand in a lot of aspects about Lyme, the community, and a knowledge we aren't fighting this completely alone.

I've an appointment with a VA physician, next Tuesday, stopped and left a copy of "Healing Lyme". I really don't wish for MD's to attempt to place me on anti-biotics. What I wish is an accurate diagnosis. How does one accept a diagonsis. I've had Western Blot and Eliza, but inconclusive results. I had to gather my own records to confirm the "inconclusive results". I would very much like someone to run a CD57, but what do I know. I am just the victim.

I'm hope the protocol in "Healing Lyme" will assist me and then I could tell other of my results.

Thanks once more. Maybe some other Arkansas victims will come forward. Oh, the doctor said the there were no Lyme in Arkansas only tick borne illnesses!

Bobrm2, I would def push for a CD57 panel, it's supposed to be very very highly indicative of lyme.

If the VA won't push, do you know the cost? And, can a civilian go straight to a lab? The My wife's PC says he'll pass me to an infectious disease specialist,

No, civilian can't go straight to the lab--has to be doc ordered. I can't remember how much that panel cost because I had it when I had a thousand other things being tested as well.

HI Bob. Sorry it took me so long to respond, I've had a few things happening with hubby's health we've had to take care of.

I'm so sorry that I left you with the impression I was using Buhners' protocol! I'm not using that one. I have been using the protocol that can be found @ Misty Meadows. Anyone wanting a link can email me. I use this in combination with acupuncture and homeopathics and have seen great results so far!

As far as ticks carrying Lyme in Arkansas, I have had positive blood results for being re-infected with LD three times in the last 3 years here in Ar.!!! You could also look up articles written by Dr. Edwin Masters about Lyme & Lyme-like diseases (like STARI or Master's Disease as it is now called) - he's the one LLMD I have been treated by and he has many papers that he has written on tbi's.

Since the doc you spoke to said that there are tick-borne diseases here in Ar., but not LD, then maybe that doc doesn't know that LD is a tick-borne disease!?!?!

I am in the process of reading this wonderful book, also ordered his "Herbal Antibiotics" almost a must have for the medicine cabinet in any home.... Out of the veritable SEA of written material available out there, I felt fortunate to find such knowledgeable writing, scientific discourse, I found really interesting, well researched. After my light research into this subject, I'm led to believe the bacteria spirochete could be the cause of many common illnesses, disorders (thruout history--way not a new bacteria)! and YES, I think widely covered up, it would appear by some doctors, insurance companies, states gov health depts, too. I just looked into WA state gov website for a friend who lives in "deer country" there, for info to find they claim to have a nominal amount of reported cases, and many of those they blame on people becoming infected in other areas..
It is a wonderful book,...I have not yet begun any protocol.....and have not been tested by a lab as yet. I do feel lucky to have found his info, most certainly.
I'm having trouble ascertaining what the COST of lab testing is, once doctor ordered? I'm going to have to write the lab itself, I don't know that they will answer patient inquiries...

just wanted to add a thank to aquaholical for the link to the planetthrive site....that's great, and will be a big help to another friend in WI , that i wanted to get info to asap; I note his protocol is posted right onsite to the right hand under his pic....
