Yes Gary, many have committed suicide after trying long term antibiotics and not getting better. One member of this site was not
open-minded to trying alternative medicine and took her own life after years of long-term antibiotic use.
I also knew of a nurse who was on long term IV and that caused so many complications that her body just couldn't handle the IV antibiotics anymore and she passed away (no suicide in her case).
I truly believe that everyone should learn as much as they can and be their own advocates. Educating oneself, asking many questions on forums as well as their own doctor (people forget that doctors work for them not the other way around), reading books, etc. is one of the best solutions in any disease.
As I always said, if one's current protocol is not working after a substantial amount of time, then it's time to explore other protocols. I also believe that a protocol should "not" make a person feel worse.
Gary, I believe that in time you're gut will heal totally. I am just so happy that you were open-minded to alternative medicine and how well you responded!!
