Hi Mojo,
In order to find out if a LLMD will treat you aggressively, you should spend a little time reading on a few different recommendations from LLMD's on treatment. You could start with Dr. Joseph Burrascano's "Advanced Topics in Lyme Disease" -
betterhealthguy.com/joomla/images/stories/PDF/lymdxrx2008-october.pdf, and then look up others on the internet.
Then just call and ask how the doc that you are considering treats LD. They may want you to schedule a consultation in order to do this, be sure to find out if you will be charged for it before saying yes. No surprises that way!
For information on finding a Lyme Literate Medical Doctor(LLMD) in your area, please email our long time member, Dan's Mother at:

www.turnthecorner.org/bod.htm if you want to learn a little bit more about
Lyme Disease.
You can also go to The Lyme Disease Association and search for LLMD's 3 times in a month. You have to register first. Here is the link:
www.lymediseaseassociation.org/index.php?option=com_content&view=article&id=277&Itemid=74 You will want to find an ILADS (International Lyme And Associated Diseases Society) doctor. The ILADS site is another great place to read to get you started on your Lyme journey.
www.ilads.org/lyme_disease/treatment_guidelines_clearing_ilads.html The other thing you can do is to 'bump' this post up for a while to keep it near the top of the forum so that many other members will see it and hopefully be able to offer their help as well. I will help to keep an eye on your post as well.
Be sure to let us know how things are going and if you find another LLMD!
