Staph Infection in Throat/Sinus

My doctor stuck a six inch long swab down my nostril to test for staph and it came back positive. He put me on a nasal spray with edta, mupirocin, and gentamicin. anyone else have a staph problem? He says it could be causing most of my symptoms

My LLMD has mentioned staph and strep to me before. Fortunately he works at a reaserch university and has been working on the conection of cronic staph and strep infections in Lyme patients. Most people tested come back posetive.

I would recomned asking your LLMD about it. But I will look through the many binders of info I have complied and see if there is some more information about it in his handouts.
