Woops!
Sassy, I was going into your post to edit it and it kind of self-destructed. So sorry.
First, you broke one of the forum rules. You mustn't flame anyone, member or non-member, that includes doctors.
Second, stop shouting! That's how all caps reads.
Please re-post and I won't disturb it!!

I didn't say names so does it matter? And is it a crime to leave the CAP lock button on? My intention was not to shout.

It's considered rude to type in all caps, unless you really want to shout something to people reading it ;)
P.S. I came in here to read your post, can you retype it?

I took Mepron for Babs-- prescribed by my LLMD-- it really helped with certain symptoms that have never returned.
I tested negative for Babs....and Lyme too. Was diagnosed for both on symptoms alone.
Don't know the answer to your question though. Not sure anyone-- even docs-- can provide a definitive 'yes or no' answer.

Just because a person is infected with one of the many TBI's never means that they automatically have even one more. From what I have read over the years, nothing is a sure thing once a person has been infected with a tick-borne illness.
I tested negative for everything as well, Cat. Once I finally got in to see a LLMD, he told me that by my symptoms, 'we' had to assume that I had been infected with most, if not all, of the tick-borne infections - at least all of the most common ones. He wasn't so sure about
things like Tuleremia and the lesser known ones though.

Interesting, i tested negative for babesia and bartonella...but i suspect i have them both. The babesia is really knocking on the door right now 5months into my lyme treatment. I am having weekly cycles of head pressure, headaches and crushing anxiety and sleepiness. When i take my artemesia it helps though. I think the babesia is being brought out by the tindamax i am taking, which i believe is anti-protozoal. So depressing to know that i might still need to treat these coinfections for months on end. AND its so hard to treat them at the same time....sigh, it will be worth it though!!!

Hi Wide-eyes!
Interesting name! Welcome to our forum! I'm sorry that you are in treatment for Tick-borne infections like us, but I am glad you found us!!
First off, may I give you some advise? The members and the Moderators on the other forums here on Healing Well don't appreciate those with Lyme Disease telling them that they need to look into the possibility that they may have Lyme as well. It's just a sad fact, but we like to keep the peace here - even between the different forums. Thanks in advance for your understanding.
If you haven't already, I would like to encourage you to start with reading through the thread at the top of the forum titled,
"New to Lyme?...Start here!!"
, as it is packed full of relevant information and informative links that have been put together by our members here! We also have a pretty good search function on this forum to help you narrow down your search for information from past posts. We must be our own health advocates now and the best thing to arm yourself with is knowledge!
It does get to be a challenge sometimes keeping up with all of the things we need to!! I know I frequently feel like I am being ruled by when I need to take what!! Ugh! But, like you said it's worth it in the end!!
