Tests Back! What do they mean? CD-57 is 16!

I got my results over the phone and can't wait until my llmd doc appt on friday! someone please offer your opinion on whether i have lyme or not!

2 month ago i had a w-b come back + for igm 23

tests i had 2 weeks ago:

w-b: no lyme bands

co-infections: none

CD-57: 16

is the old w-b result and the cd57 enugh for dx?

i've researched that nothinelse other than chromic lyme will return a cd57 so low! (other than aids but i'm pretty sure i'd be dead by now if it were that!)

i think if it is lyme, i got it over 10-15 yrs ago and that is why the cd57 is so low! i remember the tick bite too!

any hope here? i have been dx'ed with ms but am hoping it's lyme instead!

i was dx'ed for ms in 2005 by clinical symptoms and a spinal tap.

anyone here ever have a cd57 as low as 16?!?

If you were in fact infected 10 - 15 years ago, and never had adequate treatment, it would not be surprising at all that your test results are neg. Lyme Disease actually fools our immune system into believing it's not there when it's left to run it's course. That's what happened to me. I didn't test positive for any tick-borne infections until after I had been on abx for a full year.

I saw my LLMD today.

In additon to the CD-57 low score of 16 my W-B came back with only the Igm 23 again!

She said it wasn't enough for a formal dx so we've increased the doxy from 200 mg to 400 mg daily and will do another W-B and CD-57 in 2 weeks.

She hopes more bands will pop out so we can get the Lyme dx by CDC stamdards.

I asked her straight up if she thought I had lyme - "Oh yeah" she said.

I'm feeling pretty confident I do too!

How long have you been taking the doxy for now and have you had any reaction at all to it? Also, it sounds like you have a good LLMD. If you don't mind could you pass their name and where their located on to me. My email address is available in my profile.
