Yes! Answer their questions! I would really hesitate about answering who is treating you though.

ok, so I think it went well.

It was reported I had only RMSF, not lyme.  That is because my first lyme dr ran co infections test after my positive igenex.  That all came back neg except it did say that rmsf showed up but is neg now. 

I asked her alot of questions and was very suspicious.  I remembered that we 'do' want to be a statistic so I answered my symptoms questions.  I also told her I was POSITIVE lyme and had western blot to prove it so she marked it as such.  I then told her how my dr said i was cured and gave me NO abx after seeing my bullseye.

She wrote down approx dates and I told her I was still experiencing symptoms and never really had to say I was on meds now...so I didn't.  The only dr name that I gave was my family dr.  The one who originally dx me as lyme after seeing bulleye but then withdrew that dx aftering seeing ELISA negative test.

So I am now listed as a statistic as having lyme, babesia (probable since no positive test), bartonella (probable) and RMSF (probable) and they know nothing of any LLMD I have seen.

So I guess it went ok.

Isn't it bizarre tho that I actually felt like a criminal when I heard who it was calling me.  I was scared.  Of what?  I have no idea.  I am the one with this dreaded disease but yet I felt guilty.

Oh and btw, she said that is really weird to just have gotten a single dose in the beginning.  She said you should have gotten a month and maybe 2!

I told her if I would have gotten a couple months back then, I might have been cured by now!

 

Rocky Mountain Spotted Fever. Some of us test pos for it, but as I understand it, if you really have it it can be fatal. I tested pos on WB even when Lyme was neg, but never even started treatment for it since it seemed to be a piece of the puzzle, and didn't come close to explaining my sxs. I was retested after a year and if I remember correctly, it's gone now. I think it just clears up when you drop the abx hammer.

Rocky Mountain Spotted Fever is another TBI. It also shows without the rash and is known as Rocky Mountain Spotless Fever - that's the one I had. Only in acute cases is this fatal if left untreated. I can't seem to find any documentation on this, but I have been dxed with a chronic form of RMSF by my one and only LLMD - Dr. Edwin Masters (for whom Master's Disease was named).
