Colloidal silver anyone

Whole new basically underground has been opened to me and it feels like a matrix moment with the blue or red pill. Blue I persue another doctor due to the fact that my current(past) Lyme doctor gave up on me.

Then there's the red pill where I could open a whole new door that I never even knew existed. And let me tell you this is so much harder of a decision than they made it to be in the movies.

With this there's the constant fear of side effects that could potentaly deveatate the rest of my life if done improperly then there are the rewards where I could be on the road to recovery. I just don't know, colloidal silver claims to have a dramatic effect to well know disease ares being included. I just have so much thinking and stress on the matter, I'm just at a crossroads on what to next. This is the hardest decision I ever had to make its just so scary. I don't know if anyone has has experience with this but any input whatsoever would be greatly appreatied. Thank you in advance

I certainly understand your apprehension.  I too am very leary about colloidal silver.  Just recently my LLMD suggested it for my eyes.  My occasional blurry or cloudy vision and red eyes is one of my last lingering symptoms.  She had just attended a lyme forum where there was an eye dr. there who suggested colloidal silver.  I have done some research and did just started using it in my eyes.  Sometimes I think I must be crazy taking a chance with my eyes but lyme is scary also and since the eye doctors and neurologist could find nothing wrong with my eyes, I figured I'd give it a chance.

Is the silver the red pill or the blue pill? Oh, it must be the blue... I'm sure you have read that it can cause you to turn blue as a side effect (only happens to some people at certain high doses, I believe.

Certainly something to give you pause.

Bottom line? You have to trust your doctor or practitioner to really get well, IMHO. Let me get this straight, are you trying to decide between a new doctor or striking out on your own?

It is so much better to have another person treating you so that you don't have to do all the worrying about your treatment yourself. You need someone with experience who can guide you and monitor your progress. Experimenting on yourself is not very healthy!

HI Jake,
I agree with you about taking that red pill, but sometimes it can really change the playing field for some of us.

Please do your research with this, things like is this all I'll need, or should I be looking for other things to use with this? I don't have a clue with colloidial sliver.

May I suggest that you do a search here on HW to help a little more? I entered the search terms "Lyme, colloidial silver" and came up with quite a few posts.

Son used the collodial silver and it does work much like abx. Probably kills some of the bacteria and causes others to change form and hide.

Just my opinion.

Well the thing is my Lyme doctor basically said he can't do much more for me so I'm kind of forced to find other options. This was introduced to me through a support group in my area but the info my mom was given was limited. Some guy who's a minister(takes this title because there is all kinds of controversity with big pharma covering this up so it's not a threat to their "medicines") but he wants to treat me with iv silver.

I've done so much research on the subject but I can't find anything conclusive. One side says it's a life saver and another said it acts as a heavy metal that will build up in your system and cause all kinds of problems.

I'm not really sure who or what exactly to believe considering how much corruption there is now. Even my lyme doctor who I put all of my trust in, like really put myself out there and I get betrayed.

It's such a hard decision. This guy also works along side a herbalist of some sort who's products supposed to work in conjuntion with the silver

My friends ex is all over this stuff and swears it's the cure for EVERYTHING!!! I personally have not tried it though. I'm going to stick with my ABX and the Samento and Banderol for now.

So sorry that your LLMD is doing this to you. I cannot imagine that my LLMD would ever give up on any of his patients.

Hi Jake,
IMHO, there are two things you should do at this point - 1) find a doc that you can put your trust into, and 2) research any treatments yourself as well as you possibly can, then run them by your doc before starting anything, to be sure that you are being medically supervised.

One thing I've learned by being very active in Lyme forums and my own research over the years and that is that each of us will require treatment that is as unique as we are. We each have different issues that were going on in our bodies when we got infected - weaknesses, substandard functioning, viruses & such- and the same since we got infected, not to mention all of the different strains of these infections - Lyme Disease alone has over 300 strains world-wide and 100 of them currently being identified as circulating in the US!!

I realize that there are many different avenues to look into and that is what this site can help you with - just please be sure that the treatment is right for you in your specific situation. Yet another reason I believe we need to educate ourselves as much as we can about these infections.

Thanks guys that kind of puts my mind at ease. I was talking to the support group leader who recommended it to me, and he said people have had great success. Honestly I trust him more than any doctor out there. I'm just leary about finding another doctor right now cuz I kno they'll prob sway me away from this. But I'll see, I have alot of thinking to do on the matter hopefully I'll find the right thing to do.
