Rife machines for lyme

I am looking for recommendations for the different machines on the market. There are so many, how to choose??

Thank you so much for your response. I had read about the F-117 but of course it is the priciest unit I've come accross. Did you get the basic system or the one with the additions? Had you looked at other machines? I was looking at the BCX Ultra as well. Have you heard of this? How did you decide on your machine? Thank you!!! smilewinkgrin

I am so caught up in my own thing that I didn't think to wish you and your husband well. I certainly hope this works for you!! This machine is for my daughter who has not been diagnosed with lyme yet--negative western blot sent to regular lab. We have an appointment with a LLMD in 2 weeks when she gets home from college. All her 'tests' have been negative. Same stories as many folks, severe multiple joint pain, brain fog, memory loss, no reading comprehension, and other neuro symptoms. Even if it is not Lyme, I am hopeful this machine will be helpful for whatever ails her. In terms of 'killing the critter with a handgun or missle', either way the critter is dead. That is my dilemna!!! :) I will keep you posted! Thanks

Welcome to our forum! I see you have met one of our wonderful members!!

It would do you and your daughter a world of good to learn as much as you can about Lyme and the other tick-borne infections (TBI's). Knowledge is power and we must have that kind of power to beat these infections!

If you haven't yet, please read through our thread at the top of the forum titled, "New to Lyme?...Start here!" as it's packed full of some really great info, as well as informative links!! We also have a really great search function on this site! If you were to enter the search term "rife", you may be surprised to find out how many posts there really are on the subject!

These really are very complex infections, baffling all kinds of doctors - even the specialists! The tests are only approximately 50% accurate, as they count on the immune response to work properly, and Lyme can and does suppress the immune response. With the symptoms that your daughter is experiencing, it sounds like she may have been infected for a while, so getting to a knowledgeable doc will be pretty important for her to heal -and the only way to know if you are dealing with a knowledgeable doc if for you to be educated about these infections.

That's where we come in - we can help you find the answers you need a lot of the time, as we have such great and wonderful members here who just love to help others!! We can also help you understand what your daughter is going through, as we are infected with the same bacteria and have those crazy symptoms as well!!

I recently purchased a doug coil machine based on several other peoples success with theirs.  I love it so far and it most definitely is hitting my neuro issues.  My lyme is mostly neuro.  I know there are several of us on here  that have the doug coil machine.

If you do a search on this site for either rife or 'doug coil' there are some interesting and informative threads.

As for price I know there is a guy in Arizona that makes them and sells them for over $3000.

There is also a guy in PA that makes the same thing and sells for much less profit.  His was just under $1800.  that is the one I got.  Extrememly pleased.  I actually met with him and spent several hours learning all I could from him.  He says he cured his lyme and coinfections with it.  He had some other success stories he shared as well.

There are many types on the market so it is wise to do some research on all of them before buying and then of course it must fit into your budget as well. 

Good luck with whatever you decide on and however you decide to treat.

Maybe there will be some others come in to give an opinion.

I just got myself a Rife machine - at an estate sale! No one there knew what it was either (the owners of the home were not at the sale), so they sold it to me for $10 !  It is a BioTech 2000, and it looks like it was hardly used.  What a find.

But now my sister and I are looking to get a coil machine, so this is a timely thread!  At first we thought of buying one, but I think that my husband can probably put one together for us.....the only things is that we are just starting out with the whole Rife thing and we're pretty confused.  I think that by going on some Rife and Lyme forums, we'll get some of our questions answered.

I think it would be wonderful if once you all start learning about Rife, coil and any other things pertaining to this form of treatment, you would be so kind as to start a new thread or just keep this one going!!!

I have been noticing that more and more people are interested in these things, and it would be nice if we could present some good solid info on those treatment forms! I don't have the foggiest idea what the difference is between the two are - or if there even is a difference!!! LOL!! turn

Me too, Trav! I have always thought of this technique as a little to far into the pseudo-science gray area for me...but one never knows....! There sure is a lot of interest in Rife these days.

Wow, Thia!!! $10 for a rife machine. What a steal..I mean deal!! Woo Hoo!

I have a Doug Coil machine. If you go on the lyme/rife forums, that is one of the better ones that people suggest. I would love it if I could turn it on at night and let it beam over my body, but I think my husband would freak out. He and my family do not like to be in the house when I'm running my machine. It's kind of funny actually!

Anyway, I have not been using my machine. I changed my meds in September and seem to be having pretty good herxes from it, so I'm not sure if I should be rifing on top of that or not. It's pretty easy to use. My only problem with it is holding the coil to get my back. It's kind of hard, but I do it. I wish there was an easier way to do that.

Like another poster said, you can go to the lyme rife forum and get thoughts from other rife users.

I thought using the Rife machine helped with detoxing as well???? If so, that would be an excellent thing to do while you are still dealing with the new medication changes!!

Yea, Carrie, it was quite the deal! It was marked at $40, so of course my great negotiating brought it to $10. The estate sale people had no idea what this machine was, and just wanted to get rid of it!

Now do you use different Rife machines or just the Doug Coil? I would like to alternate machines and this way keep those Lyme bugs on the run! Of course I first have to figure out the machine I bought and start using that first; but I really do need an education on Rife. I have heard so many success stories about using the Rife, I can't wait to get started.

I only have the Doug Coil and like I said, I haven't been using it. But, all this chatting is making me realize that I have a nice machine sitting right here, so I'm going to fire it up today!!! I too would like to get another machine and alternate it. It's a great method! But...I have to first start using the one I have with more consistency!

i just went and read about rife's.....but im almost positive i would have to see one in action to probably understand it.....if it works thats awesome.....u dont have to wear any ugly headgear with that contraption do ya?.....and my post about feeling like a science experiment...well..that machine would surely be a confirmation...lol

I don't know anything about my Rife machine yet Carrie! All I know is that the manufacturer is BioTech 2000, it has an instruction manual with the frequencies, two handles with glass tubes (which have gas in them, I'm assuming) and another two handles are metal, and two foot plates. I have to be very careful (and well-read on this stuff) so I don't go programming frequencies into the thing and trying it out before I know what I'm doing! Which I don't!! I am VERY new to Rife. In fact, I just saw a machine about a week ago at a friend's house and tried it out there. That's how I recognized it at the estate sale. Plus the manual with it said it was the very latest in Rife technology.....only I don't know how old the machine is, obviously. But I figured I couldn't go wrong for the price and if I don't like it I can always get a different one. My sister really wants the Doug Coil machine because she believes it is the best (and the strongest).

LymieAngel: No headgear! When I tried my friend's Rife machine, she punched in the frequency number for Babesia, I held two metal handles in my hands, and she started the machine - very low. I felt the handles vibrating a bit; feels a little strange, definitely like an electrical current. When she put it a little stronger, I didn't like it and told her to turn it down a bit! It did make me a bit nervous. I think you have to work your way up slowly.

@thia......hahaha...so no headgear..thats good.....but that tingling sensation...its kinda like the feeling when u check to see if a battery still has life in it?....*people lick the end of a battery to see if they get a tingle sensation*....lol...but it send electrical current through ur hands?....i know i may be wayyyy off....but i will get on a riding lawnmower..*for rebounding on my lymphs*..and i have a strange vibration in my arms after i have held onto the handles of the lawnmower.....its like when i let go of the handles...i still vibrate...i dont know its weird....*with every post i confirm to myself that lyme has made me crazy*...lol

LOL!! You're not crazy, LymieAngel!! It's the Lyme or other TBI's that you have! At least you are with people who recognize what you are talking about rather than say "You do what???" LOL!!!

I still get those remaining vibrating feelings some - especially if I have held onto whatever that starts that feeling for a while. Driving for more than 1 hour will still do that to me, if I drive for 3 hours, then it stays with me even longer - hours.

Although I do have to say that with treatment it is diminishing! So I can tell you that that vibrating feeling that sticks with you will go away with treatment!

And a big thank you for having an open discussion about Rifing here! Don't forget for some more info, anyone can always use the search function (at the top of every page) and use the search term "rife" and it will bring up past posts where others have had discussions on Rifing.

HI WWJD, No I have not purchased yet. I ordered a book by Brian Rosner in which he discusses different rife machines, how they work, and effectiveness. Did you get the machine with the truerife that gives you biofeedback and tells you the actual frequencies that are out of wack?? How is the system working for you? Results yet? When I called and talked with the guy at truerife he was talking way over my head and I couldn't get him to come down to my level. I think, other than the Doug coil, it is the strongest machine. I am checking out doug coil as well. I would love to hear about your progress!!

Anyway we can exchange emails on this forum??

Did everyone here using Rife do this on your own, or did you get some testing of frequencies with a doctor/naturopath? I just don't know if I can go ahead and start putting in frequencies and use the machine with no instruction. I have the manual for the Rife machine, do I try each frequency (because for Lyme there are quite a few)? And how do I know if it's working FOR ME? Obviously Lyme affects everyone differently, but with the actual bacteria it is all the same, no matter what symptoms a person may have?

In the manual, there are frequencies for primary Lyme, tertiary Lyme, secondary Lyme, Lyme (1), Lyme (2), etc, etc. What the heck are all these?

Primary, Secondary, and Tertiary Lyme are descriptions of the length of time of infection and what parts of the person are affected. So a recent infection (rash and fever) would be primary, secondary is where the joints are involved and a long held infection involving the central nervous system is termed as Tertiary.
