clarithro/flagyl/riamet pulse - tips needed

Hi,

Did the big 4-hour return trip to my LLMD yesterday.

I was on clarithromycin (biaxin) and plaquenil. I had had heart issues, he had me try half doseage, then on my own I stopped the plaquenil and went full doseage on the clarithro and my heart calmed down, and I could see a lot better, so I stayed off the plaquenil.

Seeing him now, as I have pains in my fingers, he is now putting me on a pulse therapy:

5 days 200mg/day clarithromycin
1 day Flagyl 1000mg
6 days clarithro again
3 days Riamet


Any experience with the sort of side-effects I can expect?

Any tips on how & when to take the Flagyl and the Riamet? With food, without food, etc...

He's going to test my liver in 6 weeks.
