Is it possible to have a Co Infection with out having Lymes ?? and if so how would you ever have gotten it ????

I ask my doctor this and she said it is possible but unlikely. Don't know if it is true but that was her answer. The same carriers of ticks that carry lyme are the carriers of the other diseases.

Not all ticks carry the same diseases.

But, keep in mind, the term Lyme disease really refers to the microorganism borrelia, Bb. It just happens to be the first organisms identified. We now know that "Lyme disease" really refers to a multi-organism illness; many different bacteria, virus' and parasites. Most in the research and scientific field are now calling it Tick Borne Complex. Hopefully the name will be officially changed soon so more attention and seriousness will be taken of the illness in its entirety.

The infections ticks transmit depends on the animals, birds, etc. they've fed on that were infected themselves.

If you are infected by more than one bug, then they are all co-infections.

It's convenient to say "I have Lyme" with co-infections, when in fact they are all co-infections. As Lupner says (my wife is a RN too!) not all ticks carry the same bugs.

You guys probably need to look at fungal co-infections too. Mine journey started out as Fungal with co-infections. Now, I don't know which came first, but they're all co-infections :)

I just has the Igenex test done so we shall see what it comes back as ... Thanks for all the Info ... Everytime I do use Samento the following day I am all swollen ( my C4a is elevted also causing inflammation) and my symptoms are worse plus I am on Zithromax right now .. I first tried Doxy but for some reason it casues me to be very anxious like ( I have had panic attacks since 2008 which is when the Illness started)... I also have low Cortisol but am taking HC for that (low doses).....
