That's a great start!! I'm sure those little ones do keep you going! I know my kids did that for me as well, when they were small.
I would like to say a bit more on the need for you to detox all you can though. If I had it to do all over again (
), I surely wouldn't wait until I started treatment to start detoxing. The bacteria have a life cycle and when that ends and they die off, they produce toxins which can actually leave ammonia in the body and brain. These toxins accumulate in the body along with the toxins we take in from everyday living - in our water, our air and the chemicals and abx in our food system- and they all bog down the body. It seems that most of the people with Lyme Disease don't detox well on their own. We seem to need extra help or the toxins just keep on building causing us to feel worse and worse! This is why we encourage all of our members to take an active role in helping their bodies to detox. Not only by drinking lemon water, but by dry skin brushing, and taking detox baths or detox foot baths.
The dry skin brushing is needed because our skin is our largest detoxing organ! The dead and dying skin needs help lifting up off of the newer layers so that the skin can operate at it's most efficient level, releasing as many toxins as possible. It's truly amazing how much this will help once you start doing it regularly!!
The detox baths work by taking up the extra oxygen that we are giving it through the hydrogen peroxide - which will help kill off a few more bacteria, and increasing the magnesium and by doing so through the skin really helps to release a lot of toxins.
That's of course not the scientific answer (
), but it gets the job done!!
Detoxing is a pretty important part of our healing, so it can't hardly be emphasized strongly enough.
Hopefully this has given you some food for thought! I do hope that you can get in to see someone soon!
