So I posted a few days ago that my toes were numb and not moving correctly. They have not improved. Now my left hand is the same. I thought it was a temporary thing, but it's been about
a week now. It's very weak, tingling, trembling/twitching internally and I have severely impaired movement and sensation in it. It's kind of scaring me as I don't want it to be permanent or to continue getting worse.
I'm 4 weeks into the medications (biaxin and mepron). I did not have this type of severe numbness/weakness before I started taking the meds. Although I did have some sluggishness in my hands which was unusual. I don't think I'm having a herx because I've felt the same way (pretty poorly) since I started the meds weeks ago.
Is this a typical symptom of Lyme? Is it considered neurological? Do you think it's due to the meds not working and Lyme progressing? Is there anything I can do to stop it from getting worse?
Thanks!
