Oh JT, So sorry to hear of your situation.
Like you, I was reinfected just when I fully regained my help. It is a huge blow. While you have the advantage of knowing what you have ahead of you, you have the disadvantage of knowing what you have ahead of you!
I found it really difficult to muster the discipline to do the things necessary to speed my recovery. I likened it to returning to base camp after climbing Mt Everest and being told I had to turn around and do it all again. My heart just wasn't into it -- considering I didn't want to do the climb in the first place!!
It is going to take all of your personal strength to get through this. Do enlist the help of your family and new found friends. My hat is off to you for making the big move to CA, that was a very brave and proactive thing to do.
Do try to remember how great you felt when you were well. I know what you mean about
feeling a bit manic when you do get released from the chains of this disease. Pretty close to being a super-hero!!
You'll get there again. Take heart.
