I have HORRIBLE heartburn! To the point where I feel like I'm having a heart attack at times. I have really cleaned up my diet (no sugar, non starch, high protein, organic berries maybe a handful per day, grapefruit being one of my only fruits other than berries, eggs, lots of low starch veggies) I also added 200 mg of magnesium daily and am working up. I take triple omega pills, multivitamin, probiodic, siggis all natural and low in sugar high probiodic Icelandic yogurt and even some keffir which btw is making me feel yucky sonill prob stop.
Anyhow, the magnesium & /or diet has helped. I still get the heartburn, but much less!!! And less intense too.
Hope this helps. If you have a yeast issue you should restrict all sugars and starches/carbs. Check out dr burascanos page on dieting.
