Hi PrayingForAMiracle!
I was one who had that to an extreme! To a point, my body temp was regulated by the air that surrounded me!! I couldn't tolerate temps below 72 or above 80 degrees for several years. This can be normal for some to experience when they have these infections. It's listed as one of the symptoms of Lyme disease in our "New to Lyme?" thread at the top of the forum.
Please be very careful with the heat as this could be dangerous if you are not. Heat exhaustion or even heat stroke can occur at a much faster rate when you are experiencing this type of symptom. I've been through it a couple of time because I was too bull headed to recognize that I was in trouble!!
This will most likely last until you reach a certain point in your healing and could be due to issues with your thyroid. Have you had your thyroid checked out? Just the most basic thyroid test that most docs will use isn't enough though. You will need to have your "T3" & "T4" levels checked. There are quite a few of us that have Hashimoto's Thyroiditis because of Lyme. Some of the symptoms overlap with Lyme Disease, so you should be checked out.
Please be sure to let us know how things turn out!
