LLMD Recommendations for NJ or NY ~ Holistic If Possible

Hi AvaG, welcome to the forum! I wish I could recommend someone - I actually just started looking for a holistic practitioner in north jersey as well. I'd recommend my LLMD but she likes to go heavy on the abx and allopathic treatments, so that doesnt' sound like a great fit. Hopefully someone else will be along to recommend someone - I know there are quite a few members in the area. Best of luck!

You will want to find an ILADS (International Lyme And Associated Diseases Society) doctor. The ILADS site is a great place to read to get you started on your Lyme journey.

I'm in Northern Jersey, and I was just diagnosed (again) w/ Lymes yesterday. I had actually had Lymes as a child, but haven't had symptoms (at least any debilitating) since then. I managed to get another tick bite and subsequent bulls eye rash, which led to another diagnosis. I am currently looking for LLMD's in the Northern jersey area. I would love a holistic dr. as well, but at this point I just want to make sure I am working w/ a dr. familiar w/ lymes. Thx. for your help.
