I was d/g with Lyme about
5 weeks ago, & started treatment. Currently my worst symptom--I
think it's a Lyme symptom--is my left lower back/sciatic nerve has been killing me for about
2+ weeks. I'm considering physical therapy, though I"m pretty sure it's going to go away in time. I've watched my hubby "pull" several muscles over the years living with Lyme, so I know this is most likely a symptom of Lyme. Also, another member had talked about
Lyme affecting collagen.
I've tried stretching and it makes it worse--I get SO sore after stretching I'm near tears, & the pain keeps me up at night. It' s just that it's NOT going away! It's baffling to me, as I've exercised my whole adult life, & if I ever strained/pulled something, I'd ice it, stretch, & take a day off of working out, & it'd go away. Me & the hubby see our LLMD in a few days, I will ask her, but I'm just wondering if others have these mysterious "pulled" muscles that get worse with stretching...?
