Terrible Air Hunger lately

Hi everyone....

I was wondering if anyone has air hunger. I get it every now and then. I never used to know what it was but now I know it's related to lyme disease. I hate the feeling of not being able to take a deep breath. I find myself trying to yawn over and over again to catch that deep breath. It's been going on a couple of weeks this time.

Does anyone know if this is tied to a particular co-infection?

I've been told that it is a common symptom of Babesia.  Have you been tested for this?  I would suggest the Igenex test (FISH) as some of the other lab tests are not as accurate.  Good luck.

My wife had that symptom and I bought her an oxygen concentrator.

I think it's a symptom of either Bartonella or Babesia....not sure which, but I get air hunger & was dx with Lyme & bart.

It's a symptoms of Babesia.
