lymedisease.org/news/lymepolicywonk/811.html Even with the best of the current tests, they still don't test for every strain of the Lyme bacteria - it would be hard to since there are so very many!! Over 100 in the US and over 20 of them so far have been proven to infect humans - obviously more research needs to be done! So it's best if you can find a LLMD that will diagnose clinically - the way the CDC originally stated was necessary.
