Besides the great advice the Springsjean gave, your body is trying to tell you something. From your post;"Just feel more and more 'toxic' the more medications I try." Your body is holding on to those toxins, rather than getting rid of them. Try to limit your optional meds like the pain meds, so that you aren't just adding more fuel to the fire, so to speak, until you can get ahead of the toxins that your body is already trying to do something with.
To help with your original question, yes, the pain can be completely unremitting, if you have had these infections for a longer amount of time, or if you are very, very ill with them. I've had these infection almost my entire life, so I have had that unrelenting pain as well. The warm -
not hot- detox baths would feel soooo good!! You don't have to have the brush in order to benefit from the detox baths or foot soaks though!
I do want to caution you on the use of steroids though. Even low dose steroids can suppress the immune system, which allows these infections to spread further throughout the body- relatively unchecked. It would be best for you to find a doc to help you wean off of them if at all possible. Some people with Lyme do have other complicating conditions that require steroid use, and they must find a LLMD that understands how to use the steroids without it hampering their tick-borne infections treatment.
