Mepron availability?

Hi guys, a question especially to those who are not based in the US/Canada. Can you say if Mepron is even available in Germany or another place in Europe?

If not, has anyone experience how to get it? (Is it possible to get it from a pharmacy in the US when I have a prescription? I know I would have to self-pay in that case.

Hi Kern.

I live in Germany and I'm pretty sure that it is not available here,the only alternative would be to order online, from India for example,However you would have pay the full amount and Mepron is ridiculously expensive.

Kern, I am in the US, w/ average insurance, and I pay nearly $50/ mo for it. I believe my LLMD has said that it is $1000- $2000 per month w/o insurance, altho I admit it is possible he was referring to Malarone at the time. It IS very expensive to say the least.

What do you think would happen if you traveled and contracted malaria? Would this still not be available to you??
