Has anyone had any luck with using this benefit through their employer? I am planning on starting the process with mine next week, and would love to hear from anyone who has gone through this already. Any tips to making this successful and to go smoothly?

Yes. Go to page #9 on the forum and I posted "successful short term disability". I included how my doctor documented. I really thought I would be denied but did not have one problem. Hope you are successful!!
