Update on treatment in Germany

For those who didnt read my first post or don't remember: I have been infected for 13 months now. Was virtually fine until late June when walking started to get tough. By mid august I got to a point where I needed assistance to get around safely. Lifting and moving my legs was plain hard and accompanied by tightness in my midsection which affected my balance it made things really tough. I have come to Germany to get treatment for a whole month at a holistic clinic in Victorbur, north-east of Bremen.

Today was the end of my second week of treatment and I am pleased to say I am doing much better. My walking is up and down but is much much better and I have periods when I can comfortably walk on my own. In general Id say 30% better. My treatment includes ozone therapy, IV infusions of glutathione, homeopathic remedies and numerous complimentary therapies. Here for another two weeks so I hope to report continued success.

Thanks Sheva- Sounds wonderful!  I too am interested in ozone therapy. Do you notice a difference right after you have this done? I heard from someone else that they experience improvement immediately. Just wondered if this was true or not.

Onward50 - I started ozone on Tuesday the 2nd of october and I saw improvement almost right away. I have done 10 treatments of ozone so far. The last few days have been harder but still much better than before treatment. Not sure if this can be related to a die off reaction but that could be the case.

ryan777 - Ive been getting glutathione through IV everyday other than the two days I had chelation done. I am receiving treatment at the Kessler clinic in Victorbur, Germany.

The most effective treatment is the one I am receiving. Blood is collected, infused with ozone and sent back in iv.

Yesterday it was painful so the doc took it out and said I need a little break from it. Other than that i tolerate it fine never had any issues as a result. My month here is not just about ozone, I am doing many things and they are ordering me some new medications that I will begin and continue after I leave. As you know there is no guaranteed amount of time when it comes to any treatment for lyme disease. All you can do is try and hope for the best. I do know though that ozone treatment is usually 10-20 times in a cycle. A month should be enough for you.

Well its not the same thing, ultraviolet light and ozone are completely different things. Havent heard anything about ubv therapy so I wont vouch for it but wont deny its possible success. Wish you luck!

Sure. I got worse again since last posting. Though I am positive this is herxheimer. The clinic Im going to has a very sophisticated diagnostic machine. How it works exactly I do not know. After being tested with it you get a print out with a list of whats wrong in your system in order from criticial to not as critical. My first two tests showed Borrelia as priority number 1, severely critical. I did a test yesterday and Borrelia was at number four. This indicates that the bacteria are in fact dying which is why I certain I am experiencing herxheimer. This is my last week and I am still doing Ozone daily.
