What do you guys think?

200mg Doxy twice a day
1 tsp of Mepron twice a day
600 mg of Zithromax
Bactrim now added
Artemisinin coming soon

+herbals/supplements

treating for Babs first, then bart, then Lyme. I am quite nervous about taking my first tab of Bactrim later..

That's a pretty strong combo. Have you done Mepron before? If not, make sure you eat a lot of fat with it and watch your liver enzymes.

Bactrim can go after Bartonella and Babesia so that's a good choice.

Zith/Mepron/Art is the top choice for babesia treatment.

I started bactrim recently. Nothing severe happened but I was warned about watching carefully for allergy symptoms. I had muscle spasms in my arms which were momentarily paralyzing my hands, but that passed after a few days on it. Are you taking Bactrim DS or the regular form?

Yes I have been on Mepron for the past month. I get my liver enzymes checked every 3 weeks before my appointment. I may also be having my Mepron increased to 2 tsp twice a day. I just got blood work done to check the Mepron level in my blood. I just took my first dose of Bactrim so I'll see what happens. All I know is that it says Sulf/Tri D 800-160 tab. We didnt want to start to art yet because I have been herxing a lot lately from the Mepron.

That dose is Bactrim DS. It's the double strength version. That's the same one I'm on. I also did 2tsp 2x per day of Mepron. My liver couldn't tolerate it. I really needed a longer length of time, but now I've resorted to combining some weaker meds in hopes that it at least suppresses babesia.

Oh, that makes my stomach hurt just reading it. Make sure you are taking probiotics.

I am currently taking Florastor and a probiotic that has 3 different strains... so far I have had zero gastro issues or nausea. Just very blah
