Hi All:
I probably have asked this question before but I am going to ask again. I am not definitively diagnosed with lyme but I do have a few positive bands. One being 23. My biggest issue is tingling on the top of my head and a feeling of being off balance. Also eye twitching. I am not as deathly ill as some other people. I am functioning but I know that something is wrong with me. I have many other symptoms as well. Does anybody have specifically these symptoms? LaLa

I get the tingling on my head a lot. I have eye twitching, along w/ lots of muscle twitching all over my body.

I am also positive for IgM band 23 along with a couple others. I am off balance and dizzy alot as well as twitching of my lower left eyelid. Is this specific to band 23? Like you I do not feel deathly ill, its more just annoying and frusterating to know theres somthing wrong that has the potential to get much worse and most of the medical community doesnt take what is ailing us seriously.

I have a lot of symptoms, but I've recently started getting the tingling. Today is was the top of my head as well as my entire face, along with dizziness. It didn't last long but it was a bit scary!

I don't know if tingling is specific to band 23 but i think band 23 is specific to lyme. Have you been seen by a LLMD and have you been diagnosed? If so, are you under treatment? Also, how did everything start for you and what other symptoms do you have? Mine started with a bad cold and cough and led to a CFS type of thing. I remember my legs and arms felt very very heavy and achy. Then i started with stomach issues and digestive issues. I just felt very sick and could barely get out of bed. Then I started to get better as far as the fatigue but still felt sick. A few years later the tingling, eye twitching, neck pain, ringing in left ear, head pressure, off balance , running nose, watery eyes, etc. the list goes on started. I had lots of symptoms in between, like swallowing problems, bone pain on my elbows (still have) some joint pain, sometimes my feet hurt (not like when you are standing) very heavy chest (felt like I was having a heart attack many times). Went to cardiologist and everything was fine except that my ekg's have been a little irregular ever since this whole thing. The list just goes on and on. I can't remember it all right now. I am very functioning though. I work, go to the gym, have a social life, etc. but i know something is very wrong and I dont feel good ever. Gotta go now. LaLa

I just got bit last year so I was given treatment right away. It was just the precautionary 3 weeks since lymes wouldnt show up that soon anyways. My Dr. is not a LLMD but she seems to know alot more than your average Dr. I really didnt have many symptoms other than my lymphnode on the back of my neck (right where the tick bit) was swollen. Went back about 4 months after finishing the 3 week abx and she did a full lab. Elisa, WB, co infections, cd57s and mycoplasma. She said she couldnt "diagnose" me with myles because I didnt have enough banding for the CDC but it was deff present in my body. Got 3 month of abx which I was supposed to be off of yesterday but I ended up, with her switching up my meds 1/2 way though, with an extra month of 400 mg a day doxy so im taking it as a precaution but I very much feel as though I still have an active infection. Like you I still work (most days) I have a 2 year old so I dont have the biggets social life lol. I do pretty much daily have blurred eyesight, twitching eyelid, headaches brain fog, dizziness, heart palps and being just plain tired ALOT. And when I think about it I do get a certain type of tingling on my face arms hands if they are exposed in the morning and its very brisk. Like pins and needles or someone spraying me with very fine streams of freezing cold water. Its not painful just strange. Have you been diagnosed? If so whats your ABX protocol?

According to Burroscano( sp?) the babesia is the culpret in "tippyness" i have bent over from sitting position to pick up a pencil on the floor..an fell over. I also have decreased depth perception..causing running to things when i thought I was going around things
