Stromectol dose

I'm taking Stromectol for Babesia and Protomyxzoa and have noticed there's a big range in doses others are taking.

My dose is 12mg 3xdaily, but have worked up to 12mg 2xdaily. I have had some mild die off, but no stomach issues so far.

Is anyone having success that you can tell on a higher dose? Or problems? I've seen that some people take only 3mg 3xdaily.

And whats up with the generic not being available yet? Anyone know the date?

How long are you supposed to take it for at what dosage?

After a few days of 12mgx3 dosage I developed pain in my liver. Subsequent scans and tests did not find anything wrong with my liver.
Personally, I'd stay at 12mg daily or 12mgx2 at most. It also depends how long you have to take it for.
It's probably more effective taking multiple courses (with breaks) over a long period of time rather than massive doses.
At the same time I'd take plenty of milk thistle and which at the time I was not taking.
Apart from that I found it very effective.

I forgot to mention that after a few rounds I also got vision issues. These may occur as a result of the die off of certain parasites. Similar parasites have recently being found in Lyme-infected ticks.

I don't know what Dr Fry recommends. I did two weeks as my first round. Later up to 7-8 days every month or two months. It's quite tough on the liver and the general dosage for parasites is 12mg once or up to three days in some cases (i think).
