Yes, Bartonella may often be responsible for swollen and painful glands. Heather used the Buhner herbs Resveratrol and Boneset, and Bactrim and Minicycline were added in later to treat her Bartonella. This treatment was successful in eliminating her Bartonella symptoms. Then later, When Heather started to relapse, Dr. J, had a multifaceted approach to treat her illness. "Microbejan" was used to enable her immune system to fight the microbes. "Antitox ll was used to eliminate the toxins.
Dr. J. combined the Microbejan treatment with the use of specialized equipment that promoted lymphatic drainage. Then when Heather did her ionic foot detox treatment, you could see a lot of junk that was expelled.
When she returned home, she continued taking the Microbejan for about
8 months. We also made arrangements for her to receive foot reflexology. This stimulates an increased lymphatic flow. She also continued to regularly do ionic foot detox treatments as well as the warm detox baths.
Another thing that may help to clear out the lymph glands is to use a "rebounder." This is a small mini-trampoline. Just place it next to a wall so that you can use your hands to keep your balance. Gently bounce up and down on the rebounder, and work your way up to 10 minutes. If you are really athletic, have access to a full size trampoline, and are not too impaired, a full workout on a full-sized trampoline is very therapeutic in several ways! I realize that most of the people here on the forum would probably be limited to using the rebounder.
Chronically swollen glands and low body temperature go together. Here is a link to an article written by Dr. J. that tells of the many ways that low body temperature can impact the body, including the lymphatic system. It will be worth your while to stay as warm as possible.
