I have recovered mainly via antibiotics though I have found some herbs and supplements helpful as an adjunct in aiding my recovery.
The fact of the matter is we don't know who's actually posting this. I noticed that these kind of posts are usually from people linked in some way to the Hansa Clinic. But we don't know who they really are.
I tried most of the alternative treatments and protocols under the sun including acupuncture, naet, kinesiology, myers cocktails, iv phoschol and glutathione (kane protocol), allergy shots, cowden, buhner, and all sorts of diets and many many herbs to name the few everybody know.
For me all natural treatments I tried, I mean all, when they worked the gave me some symptomatic improvement at best but as soon as I went off I would relapse. Only antibiotics have produced solid improvements.
The acid test is what happens when at the end of the treatment and whethet the improvements you've experienced are maintained or not.
I know nobody personally who has had that kind of results. I have a couple of friends who were not helped much by antibiotics and are doing great on herbals but they have to be on a maintenance protocol in order to feel well.
The trouble with these kind of treatments is that you end up paying a lot of money to people for concoctions that subside symptoms and you need to do that for a very long time which is great if you can afford it. But then what?
However, from this I would single out CCSVI which I know for sure it can cause dramatic turnaround in health and not only for Lyme but other diseases like MS but it's got to be accompanied by other treatments including antibiotics because a good number tend to relapse after a while.
